Television Breaking Bad

Another good one tonight. Damn the scene with the drinking at the party was so intense. That's what I like about this show, it somehow automatically got me emotionally invested in the characters. Watching that scene made me feel as tense as if I was watching it go down in my own family.

Does anyone know the song that was playing at the end of the episode when Walt walked out of the store and confronts the two sleazy looking guys.

I don't know, I was wondering the same thing, I really liked it. Badass scene. I will be hoping they end it well also. I'd hate for a show like this to die a slow death.

edit- I found this:

But it hasn't been updated for tonights episode yet.

Last night's episode was pretty bad I thought. Not enough development of the story, although I did find the last encounter at the end pretty interesting.

I've loved every episode so far. The confrontation inside the store when Walt is telling the to-be cook he was buying the wrong matches for the red phosphorous and not to buy all his supplies at the same place was the most amusing to me.

Listen, EVERY tv show has slow episodes. You can't have things rocking and rolling every week or the audience just gets desensitized and the show becomes a goof. Remember, Walt and Jesse are two normal, bumbling, average Joes that have normal lives to live. If somebody dies or gets blown up every week then that kinda defeats the whole point of the show, doesn't it?

Personally, I LOVED the party scene with Hank. Walt is tired of Hank always trying to play Alpha Male and he's fighting back. Especially since Hank is trying to be Walt Jr's dad a lot of the time. Walt is taking back his son in a way, which I thought was cool.

I was also surprised that Skylar was moving that fast with her boss.

Anyone have any theories on who the two dead bodies are in the driveway? I wanted to say Skylar and her boss, but I don't see them getting rid of Anna Gunn's character. So, for some reason I'm thinking it's either two gangbangers/drug dealers that are having a spat with Walt, or it's Jesse's girlfriend and somebody else. I'm hoping it's not her though since she's cute as hell and has a rather nice bum....

Also, the "Death Professor" line in the DLZ song was so perfect. Sick ass song and perfect for the end of the episode.

No! I'll cry. I knew I hated the girlfriend. SHe's going to ruin everything.

But now they can get high together everything will go great between them. I can guarantee you he has a couple of fat sacks of tasty meth sitting around just waiting to be smoked.

Now that she has a taste for meth she's gonna be down for anything , this seasons gonna be wild.

That makes a lot of sense and would be very satisfying. I seriously can't believe how good this show is.

I agree that it's very plausible since they're threatening Walt and shit, but I think that's just too easy, ya know?

I'm thinking more along the lines of Jane and Donald or something like that. I don't really see them offing Aaron Paul's character unless he decided he was too big for TV now since he did that really crappy horror movie a few months ago. ;)

It was really sad seeing Walt kneeling in Jesse's kitchen and finding out that his kid was on the way. He's slowly but surely taking more and more steps that bring him completely over to the dark side of Heisenberg.

We've known for awhile that eventually Walt and Jesse were going to have to come to blows, right? Jesse is an addict and a screw-up. Walt is straight laced and has been doing basically all the work in their business, etc. I just didn't think it'd come this soon and this seriously. Walt just got a huge payday and now Jesse is having his girl threaten to expose him? I guess Jesse didn't tell her about Walt offing a scary drug dealer and exploding another drug dealer's pad?

I knew it was coming, but I really didn't want to see Walt and Jesse be at odds with each other. I really enjoy watching those moments when they actually bond and are like real partners, ya know? If Jesse is in one of those body bags I'm going to cry. :(
