Television Breaking Bad

I think it was because he blamed Jesse for Hanks death (since this whole mess was due to Jesse working with Hank) and was kinda doing a "you indirectly killed someone I cared about so I'm going to tell you about me indirectly killing someone you cared about."

This is exactly what I was thinking also. I was a little surprised that after walt "lost" hank that he still wanted Jessie killed but when I saw what he was doing telling him about Jane I realized it was because he blamed Jessie for Hanks death.

I'm going through a lot of stuff in my personal life and that episode was fucking heavy. I feel like I've suffered a loss. In many ways there were a lot of deaths last night or endings at least.

-Obviously Hank and Gomez were killed. Hank having been with law enforcement for a long time knew what kind of people the Aryan gang were. I don't think Walt really understood them. They don't operate like a business. Fring was living a double life. These guys are just criminals.

-The family dynamic is forever destroyed. Not just because Hank is dead, but Skyler and Flynn will never forgive Walt or look at him the same again. Someone earlier had commented on the last look Walt gave to Flynn and Skyler at the car wash before Jesse sent him the photo of the barrel. How it was the last time he'd really see his family, and that was basically true. It was the last time they were all together and were still united. That has been forever dissolved. Fucking Marie, spill the beans before she knows everything. Bitch.

-Walt and Jesse's relationship is forever severed. I know Walt had ordered the hit a week ago, and Jesse had already betrayed Walt by going to Hank, but I guess I hoped they would somehow reconcile. When Walt saw Jesse under the car I thought that Walt was going to sneak him out, not turn him over to the people that just took majority of his fortune and murdered his brother-in-law.

-Finally, my view of Walt is finally altered. There will never be Walt and Jesse working together or Walter White trying to help his family. He sold his old partner out to the Aryan brotherhood to be tortured and killed (though they're keeping him hostage and forcing him to cook). The old Walt is gone. There are things that can't be undone and Walt has done too many of those things.

Moral of the story. Crime doesn't pay....unless you're in an Aryan gang. Then it pays very well.

---
Questions left...who is the M60 for and who is the ricin for? M60 for the Aryan gang and ricin for Walt incase he gets captured? Maybe Walt hears that Jesse has been held for a year by them and sneaks in ricin to end his suffering?

why bother cooking with $6o + million chillin in cash?

That cash was obviously going to be split up in a number of ways. The blue meth is an apparent gold mine and it kept seeming like Todd was trying to impress his uncle and show his cooking ability. Plus, he seemed to have a crush on Lydia, for obvious reasons. They already have all the equipment and now Todd has someone who knows how to cook the blue. So why not?

Todd seemed to look up to Walt, even Uncle Jack said that Todd was fond of Walt. I think Todd wants to be where Walt was and be the respected chemist who manufactures this product that everyone wants so much.

Yeah. Todd is now on a quest to be able to produce the same quality of meth Walt did. He's pissed he's only been getting in then 70 something percent and knows he's letting Lydia down who he clearly is obsessed with and wants to impress. I think the desire to cook the perfect meth goes way beyond money for Todd. Sociopaths like that usually aren't too concerned with money...

^Yeah, but it's one of those hot in the day, cold at night kind of places...It's in the mountains, high desert...I bet you they get some really weird, varying weather there. I've been there a few times, just for a night or so. It definitely has a very Southwestern vibe going on. If I was rich I'd have a retirement home there, although Santa Fe which is 50-60 miles north has the reputation as being even more beautiful!=D

The show could have ended at so many different points. I hope the finale isn't an anti-climax.

Yeah, I doubt it will. The burnt out house we saw Walt come back to where the neighbour saw him is obviously going to come into play. Was a an awesome episode.

Marie is a bitch. Lydia and Todd will no doubt star in the last few, maybe the m16 will get jessie out. Will be interesting how the last 2 go. Last night had me hanging on the edge of my seat more than ever.

I kind of feel like the next episode will be a time jump.

From the preview teaser: Saul asking Walt to come back right after he leaves seems a little premature.

Just did a rewatch and wow it's just an intense episode.

It's funny at the end, at the fire station the opening shot is firefighters playing chess and the guy moves his king from white to black. So appropriate.

i clicked here just to see what everyone was crying about on fb. just by the posts in the last page i can see the show is the same rubbish it has always been.
