Television Breaking Bad

And do you guys think Walt will have a happily ever after or inevitably die?

I'm thinking Walt's family dies violently, and Walt is the big survivor of the series. He gets all the money and power in the world, closing the series as the king, with the family that he used as his justification for doing this in the first place, dead.

That would be dark and epic, IMO.

Anyways, anybody catching the promo commercials? Skyler being scared of Walt, and Walt's conversation with Saul: "You're done, when I say you're done." Walt is turning into more of a Tuco than a Gus, or perhaps combining the best of both (characters seem to learn from other characters in this show, you will very often hear Jesse repeating a unique phrase he heard recently, but often times characters repeat phrases they heard in season 1 or 2).

I love this show !!!

I shall also agree I think there will be a showdown between Walt and Hank. Can't wait to hear the random words from Jesse.

^^ I agree I really don't like Marie !

one very plausible direction for season 5

That was awesome!

I had missed an episode last summer and didn't want to finish the season with missing an episode so I unfortunately had to wait an entire year to catch up. I FINALLY saw the last few episodes of Season 4 today. That was a really long wait...

What was that thing that Tyrus was using when checking Salamanca's (sp?) room? It was like a metal detector, but it wasn't really beeping like one. It was the scene where Walter was hiding outside the window and the old woman in the next room kept saying "hello".

I can't really figure out what they're going to do with the next season. Some interesting theories on this thread though. I want to rewatch the last few episodes to look for more evidence of his glasses being bugged. I figured he was being bugged somehow (a big part of the story was how easy it was for Hank to get a GPS to try and track Gus), but couldn't figure out how. They did seem to take several shots of his glasses throughout the episodes, so that seems like a plausible theory.

I think that Hank is going to get some unexpected help next season. Lester Freeman is finally going to follow the money trail and lead the DEA right to Saul Goodman, the car wash, and to Beneke. Then Jimmy McNulty is going to arrest Heisenberg because Jimmy McNulty is natural po-lice.

Does anyone else rewatch all the episodes late night on AMC?

They started doing that a few years ago prior to them starting up Season 3. I've always found it an enjoyable time because quite honestly TV does not cater to the 2am-6am viewer (one reason I always love Cartoon Network for showing two episodes of King of the Hill at 5am).

As good as season 3 + 4 were I think season 2 is still my favorite season. I thought the whole story with Jane fit in perfectly with the rest of the show. That season also had Jesse at his lowest moments, which is really were his emotional roller coaster started going on constant rises and falls. There's one point at season 2 where he has no money, can't find a place to stay, has to break into the car lot, falls through a porta potty, has to break his own RV out of the parking lot, and then has a fight with Walter. That season seemed to be the most relevant to character development (Walt and Jesse kill Tuco, Walt makes up the "fugue state" incident, Walt watches Jane OD, etc.) thus far and I just liked the whole feel to the season, even how several of the episodes start by alluding to the plane crash that inevitably happens. Plus, I'm pretty sure season 2 is where Saul is first introduced.

Even though it's only within a few episodes of season 1 before Krazy 8 and Emilio get killed, season 2 seems to me where they really first accepted and embraced the transition into "breaking bad".

Today is the 15th here in Aus, does that mean its on tonight for you people in America? We get shafted here, so i'll have to DL it. I know, i'm going to hell for this.
