Television Breaking Bad

nah man, the foreshadowing is lame and meaningless. more of a trick to make people think that they've figured out some kind of puzzle when there were no clues and the conclusions are irrelevant anyway.

it's pretty cheap drama imo. just like the burning/soaking money scene. it's hard to empathise with people who act so fucking stupid. it's false drama.

walt at times is like calculon, who has to show every emotion in every line.

Wow. I see a lot of potential in this show. I've never seen Bryan Cranston act this well. Jesse is also a great actor imo and I'm extremely picky. To each they're own I suppose, but I disagree with 'cheap drama' so much I had to adress your post.

Anyway, this last episode was badass. The size of that lab was ridiculous!!! 200 pounds a week? Insane.

I love how Walt just pretty much crushed Jesse. And of course Saul the great wheeler dealer follows the winner. Jesse is about to do some great stupid shit.

Another thing I love about this show is the dark humor. Its here and there, but its always spot on imo. Clearly not in Imapacto's though :D.

i have more of a problem with the writing and directing than the acting. please hide spoilers, man.

It sounds like something from that Disney movie Fantasia.

I thought the beginning of the season kinda sucked but ep4 was pretty good and last episode was awesome. One thing that does bother me is Walt mouthing off to Jesse like that. If Pollo's was a real pro he would never accept that. And Jesse is definitely gonna be a problem :D

I love this show. I couldn't decide on which one is the best though... Breaking Bad or Dexter <3

Spoiler alert: do not read before watching 3x05
NSFW:
I really wonder what Jesse is going to do now, cook as much as possible from what is left of the barrel of Methylamine? Try to get 'Heisenberg' assassinated?
BTW this flashback, revealing that Jesse didn't actually buy the RV, was really neat. Who would've thought they would go back to details from the beginning of 1st season =D

NSFW:
^ I don't think they intended that in season one. I think that was just a device used by the writers to bring up the fact the RV was in fact stolen; thus giving Hank a nudge and a bit of help in the direction towards Jesse. (While in Combo's room he sees a picture of Combo and Jesse together). Hank knows Jesse from previous stuff and no doubt he's going to go looking for him now.

dude holy shit this last episode was holy shit. i cant believe the two mexican guys killed walt jr in front of skylar

oh, shit, sorry impacto. i forgot to use the spoiler tags.

but seriously, this episode was really good. the entire time i was yelling "WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON!?!" after skylar let walt hold the baby, you think that walt is DEFINITELY going straight, but then skylar comes back to find the bag of money missing and the divorce papers in the crib? like i said...WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?!?!? haha. and i disagree, the foreshadowing is awesome! and is definitely a part of breaking bad. breaking bad wouldnt be the same without it. combo taking pictures with the disposable camera only to let hank see one of him and jesse in the end? brilliant! i do believe we see the re-emergence of the two mexicans/tuco's cousins in the next episode.

I thought the last episode was kind of dull. So far I enjoyed the first two seasons a lot more than the 3rd one. There's not enough Jesse in it and hes my favorite character. There wasn't any action in the last episode either. I'm a fan of drugs and guns, together. That black dude is pretty lame. He reminds me a lot of Hussein Obama.

Agreed, I think the show may be jumping the shark as I type...but that tends to happen(shows peaking in year 1 or 2)...I'll probably watch the rest of this season, but I know when to throw in the towel, and it will probably be after show 1 of season 4...home I'm wrong!

The show is falling apart. It no longer makes any sense.

Why is Walt cooking again and if Gustavo is capable of putting together an entire laboratory full of brand new professional, industrial sized equipment - then why does he need a reluctant high school science teacher?

Hank is a terrible character. That scene in the office when he said 'fight the good fight' to his partner was fucking awkward.

I wish they didn't create so many sub-plots, or at least didn't focus on them as much. Skylar and her relationship with her boss, Marie's shop-lifting, Hank refusing promotion and having panic attacks, etc.

Episodes should revolve around Jesse and Walt. Their chemistry was what made the show interesting in the first place... and what made it funny.

When the show started, I thought that it would only run for a couple of seasons because of Walt having terminal cancer. I started to lose interest a bit when he discovered that he was cured. If it goes into another season, I'm going to stop watching.

Honestly, for whatever reason, I always miss episodes of this show. All I've seen were a few first-season episodes. They must have interviewed some tweakers or the writers themselves are since a lot of parts remind me of personal experiences just with adderall (that's as far as I'm gonna go), albeit exaggerated. I didn't think it'd be possible for Cranston to permanently be cemented as the Malcom-in-the-Middle-dad (since he did such a great job on that alone) but the fact he went one step up and actually did with almost a completely contrasting character is a testament that he is a truly amazing actor. He seems to mostly do obscure roles in films, unfortunately. Major roles are in films I haven't seen so I can't judge. Seeing as I prefer films to television, I hope this next film with a major role (Red Tails) kicks ass.

All I can say from a casual watcher's perspective.

I also thought that was pretty weird. The only thing that seems somewhat relatable is an earlier scene in season 2? where Hank is in the office talking about how these guys are cooking 'old-school biker meth'. Walt was also the brains behind whatever made his 'friends' Gretchan and husband rich at Grey Matter. Maybe he's just that good of a chemist? I don't know, still a stretch though. :\

How would they fill the time? That would get old. The need the sub-plots as these are all people in their lives and it gives more insight into their characters. Marie is far from perfect and has her own illegal problems. Hank seems to have a lot going on and I can see him completely melting down later in the season, especially if he finds out who Heisenberg is. It's obviously crucial for him as a sub-plot since he's heading the investigation to find Walt.

How would you not care about Skylar and her boss? That's obviously a huge part of the plot.

When the show started, I thought that it would only run for a couple of seasons because of Walt having terminal cancer. I started to lose interest a bit when he discovered that he was cured. If it goes into another season, I'm going to stop watching.

Did you ever think that's why the show is kind of weird now and why Walt is pretty weird? He thought he was going to die! He was sure of it! He knew how Skylar would react to anyone doing anything illegal. The only reason he was going to do that was not so he'd have money to get himself better, but so he'd have money to leave for his family when he died. Remember how he cooked 38lbs and was coughing the whole time? He got that x-ray and he thought for sure he was going to die!

Now the show is at a confusing point as is Walt. The first 2 seasons were built upon him being dead at this point. Now he isn't, but he might as well be as the rest of his life is being stripped away from him. There's no direction and he's not really sure where to turn. It seems like he's going to be focusing on cooking for the time being though, but with cutting Jesse out for whatever reason.

I think the show is going to get better. The first few episodes have been alright, but I think they're leading to some really good episodes.
