Right on functionaljunkie. The bodies is a huge mystery to me as well.

I can't find any source on this but a friend and fellow fan said that the third season might not be made for a year? A whole year? Noooo. :(

I heard that they'd be showing new episodes early in 2010. Definitely a bummer. Especially considering the writers strike shortened the 1st season to 7 episodes.

OK, I watched it again last night (sober), and I guess I understand it a bit better (that is to say, marginally ;)).

Where did Skyler say she was going for a couple of days with the baby? Did it involve a plane ride? I kept looking for the red stuffed animal that was floating in the pool to appear earlier in the episode, perhaps a toy of the Whites' newborn baby, but that would be an astronomical coincidence for it to land in their own pool.

Not to mention that the midair collision was the result of the girl's father (an air-traffic controller) being distracted by his grief over his daughter's death, which it could be argued was a result of Walt's (in)action.

I realize it's a TV show, but you have to draw the credibility line somewhere.

Great show. We expected our questions to be answered, and all we got were more questions. This is the best type of storytelling.
I teared up during Jesse and Walt's embrace in the drug den. :(
 
^skyler said she was just going to hank & maries for a few days. IMO, the dead bodies by walt's car are from the planes.
 
It's possible Jane's mother was in the plane and the pink teddy was hers/Jane's when she was a kid. There's one of Jane's drawing's with the teddy in it when Donald is going through her room.

true but i highly doubt they will kill off any major characters and jane is already dead so there is only so many people it could be, unless its a random person. also, in the interview with vince gilligan about the finale, the interviewer asked if it was likely that the people in the bodybags are from the planes, and he said yes it is likely, but didn't confirm it per say, so that just makes me think that is the likely option.

and to the guy above, the next season starts January 2010 i believe.
 
If the bodies are from the plane I'll be pissed because any reasonable person would not think a body would be contained to fit in a bodybag after falling that high. If I remember right the bodies in the bags looked pretty in-tact.
 
I bet Walter will start a new family with Jesse. He will guide him through rehab, and continue to do business with Gus, who might feel a new sense of security after realizing that his new supplier might be protected from getting busted because of his marital relation to the DEA. Skyler left, and considering her tolerance to breaking the law is at such a low threshold, i cant see her coming back. Walter will use his money to expand into something much bigger, something that he got cheated out of when Gretchen capitalized on his research and started billionaire pharm company Gray Matter Inc. I am most interested to see how Jesse recovers from the most severe emotional blows; Jane dying, heroin addiction coupled with Meth relapse, the shocking and sad death of Combo, his family abandoning him, etc. Tragic character. All speculation!
