I only watched the first episode last night, got another 3 still to watch. I thought it was quite interesting, but that doesnt seem to be the general feedback on here.

Freaky huh ? 80 % of people do say that, out of everything you could have said most people choose that as the 'best examples of certain categories of things'. They were doing a street test on people and completely freaking them out by predicting what most of them were going to say.

Dunno 'bout sheep and cows but several species of birds have proven differences in "accent" across the country (and presumably across other countries too). Wouldn't be at all surprised if there's a similar effect in many creatures.

And as you've mentioned sheep I'd best wheel out me sheep FACT! again... They have very good memories and will recognise another sheep by face alone even if several years later. Think they tried it up to five years but may have been seven.
