Brain and thoughts effected by drugs

Hey guys first off I want to say this is my first post on bluelight, I've lingered and referred to this site countless of times, feels nice to finally join the community :D

Anyways, I'll cut to the point.

In this past summer (~3 months ago) I took my fair share of drugs. Habitually smoked weed for 3 years and would dab occasionally, but one day the bastard wanted to try some other substances. He had a great time on these and made great memories, but now I wonder if it has effected me for the long term. I am just a lad- 18 years old

Within a summer (about 3 months or so long), I consumed:

  • Acid, 3 tabs, 2 different times

  • 25-b (or C? idk) taken 1 tab (Im assuming around 700mg)

  • Shrooms (my favorite) taken an eighth, about 4 times

  • MDMA in the form of molly, about over 1 gram total over a few different rolls

Now, I'm sure a lot of you in this site have done way, waaaaaay more than what is mentioned. The difference is that all of these substances were consumed a matter of months.

Once when I was doing molly, I railed it. Well, the molly wasn't crushed up enough to powder (some larger "chunks" still visible) and forgot to plug the other nostril to get a more powerful snort. Well this caused a sort of pain in my sinus and left part of my actual brain (left nostril was used) and caused me to think that the molly rocks cut up my insides and shit..

The result has caused a sort of permanent fog, even when i stop a couple days of smoking weed, the fog still remains. This has caused social problems for me, thoughts just don't seem to generate in his head. I saw something on the internet saying "Being able to instantly respond with sarcasm within seconds of a stupid question is a sign of a healthy brain." and this concerns me very much, because I'm not able to do this:(:(

Please guys I want some feedback (this post is the only reason I made this account), am I fucked? Did I do too many drugs in a short amount of time? I know the brain heals itself, but it's been more than a few months, and the after effects are still prominent. Is there any way I can help my brain recover? Will the social anxiety heal itself as my brain does?

Thanks mates, have a good evening (or day, depending on your location;))

I'm almost certain your brain will recover but you have to slow down. You've come to a crossroad, would you like to further impare yourself or stop using and recover most if not all brain function? btw no dogs, other animals, creatures, inanimate objects, or entities allowed, and especially no swimming.

The left-right nostril myth, is a myth, therefore not true... that's about the only comment I will make, so, your brain isn't coated with a layer of molly, haha.

Anyway, the post is very hard to read when you post as yourself and trying to hide your identity as a dog. (Bluelight no longer "allows" that, as it does not protect you or anyone else).

That shit happened to me, forgot what it was like to feel normal and made me feel hella awkward. Just take a break, if weed makes it worse cut back on the weed.

You didn't fuck yourself long term, it will take a while of not using seratogenic drugs though. The better you are at abstaining the quicker you recover.

I just edited the dog references out, thought that was actually the norm! lol

I'd agree on the "crossroads" thing, and I'm definitely on the road to recovery.

Have you had an experience like mine? How long was the recovery

Aight, I just went back and edited my post, hope its easier to understand.

I've never heard of the left-nostril myth, I'm assuming it just says using your left nostril to rail something is more harmful than the other?

Also, I wasn't so concerned that my brain was "coated" with molly, (Almost like those fun-dip candies you used to eat as a kid? lol), i was more curious if the headaches I often get (called ice pick headaches on the top of my head) had any correlation to my drug use.

Don't worry you will be fine. There's literally people who have done all those drugs you mentioned regularly for decades and been alright.

I can cite examples if you wish.

you'll be okay, you're not going to be screwed for life or anything... maybe look into nootropics as i think they're very helpful in being restorative. also, working out really does wonders to help this kind of thing.

if u not a heavy user would codeine be considered a relapse.\

like alcohol im not a drinker but if i drank once on the weekend?

Hey man, welcome to BL. I think I may have been in a vaguely similar situation as you are in at a certain time of my life (late teens when I first started really "experimenting" I guess you could say.) I had been interested in psychedelic drugs & their effects for a good 3-4 years before taking one. After a few really heavy mushrooms trips in a short time span I had thoughts of, how serious are these drugs effecting my body & mind? And I began to notice that I think they can, it can vary person to person tremendously so take this as however you want, really have an effect on your moods & emotions-making them very acute, sharp, strong, and prone to change in a short period of time. This last one (prone to change in a short period of time.) Think about being on mushrooms, You know how one small action or word can totally alter what your feeling in the blink of an eye while you are tripping because your emotions/senses are at an all time high. Well, this began to happen to me a lot in my everyday life. I would seriously take things to heart or be extremely sensitive. I took a break from the psychedelics because they are extremely powerful on your mind, which honestly I suggest you doing if you are having these thoughts. It sounds like your concerned enough of having these thoughts/emotions that you'd make a post asking for advice so I don't think you are totally "fucked" my friend. Just take it easy & give your mind a break. Take care.

I think OP is worsening his "situation" by constantly thinking of it.

Alot of ppl have consumed way more drugs in less time and they are fine,i dont see why you shouldnt be,especially if you were a mentally healthy young person prior to drug use.

Its way more common for ppl to be paranoid about this stuff than to be actually hurt by their use,so chill out, abstain for whatever time you need to(drugs will always be there) and try to focus on other things.

Also,id say try to drop the everyday weed use if you can, smoking daily never helped anyone to think clearer or get rid of "brainfog".

Just wanted to let everyone know that I've continued to be drug free (except weed) and my life has returned to normality! The headaches went away and gained my intellect back. Thanks to fish oil pills, proper diet and supplements, exercise, and relationship building, my body and brain are stronger than ever.

PLEASE if someone comes by like me, tell them there's hope! Staying drug free and altering your diet and exercise habits will do MIRACLES

Have a wonderful day!!!!
