Saw King Khan and the Shrines last night and they were a lot of fun. Finished their set with a cover of "Know Your Product" and the whole place went nuts! Get to see their buddies, The Black Lips at the start of Feb so I'm looking forward to comparing (I expect I'll prefer The Black Lips).

And I'm seeing Joanna Newsom in a couple of weeks, at the Forum - will be sublime, no doubt.

311 Day in New Orleans... I flew down with my boy and stayed for 4 days... The main street was packed with people....It literally was as crazy as Mardigra but with 311 fans.... I made friends with some homeboys and got myself 50 beans.... Swallowed some , shared with my boy..... and flipped the rest.... FREE TRIP... btw i have never seen so much bud smoked... i got high and didnt smoke any

Phish shows are always fun. I enjoy a good show, whether it is Atmosphere, Phish, Prince, Jane's Addiction, Tiesto, it doesn't matter. A cool show, with a nice vibe is always a good time.

picture from the Flyleaf show I went to that I took <3 We were pretty close it was awesome!

Poison was pretty awesome live, although I thought Cinderella and Dokken were better. Motley Crue is always sweet, but the best concert I've been to by far was Gun N Roses with Metallica in 1991. I know Metallica had their issues with GnR, but the show I saw was unbelievable, and it was also my first concert, I was only 8!

Most recently I saw Queensryche, which was disappointing. They didn't even play "Jet City Woman"...WTF is up wit that shit?

Seen to many dj's to name, including Teisto, Icey, Baby Anne, your usual rave headliners, but I was usually rolling to hard to remember...my loss I guess.

Korn was lame, but the tix were free so oh well.

And NIN was great too!

this past weekend:

friday night- joanna newsom (yaaaawn) There were obcene numbers of fanboys/fangirls in the audiences trying to sway to the ridiculous time signature changes-- good thing they were all changed from her albums ;)

sunday- major lazer (woooo) this show was so epic somebody got shot to death in the parking lot of my city's shittiest venue. They fucking brought it.

Saw BRMC @ Metro last week. Pretty good show.

Spoon Thursday at the Aragon (weak sauce venue choice).

Crudddd I keep getting confused between NEMD and EMD.

But I did almost get to go see Slayer last summer, but I had work and my friend didn't come through on the tickets.
