Decemberists, the Riv, 10/7
Islands, Subterranean, 10/15
Wilco, UIC Pavilion, 10/18
Dirty Projectors, Bottom Lounge, 11/13

=D

What an awesome list you got going!
I'll be seeing Islands in November. I'm looking forward to it. But I don't know how I'll feel about the new lineup. I'm really going to miss the two violin players. But it's not stopping me from going out to see Islands again :)

^I've only heard a couple albums a few times so I am going in fairly uninitiated tonight. :)

Oh, and I should mention Tortoise is opening for Wilco on Sunday. =D

They only really have a couple of albums. Well 3 to be exact. The newest is kind of the one thats wishy washy in my book. I'm still undecided on how I feel about it. But regardless have a great time tonight :) I'm sure you will enjoy them.

Tortoise and Wilco, that's gonna be an awesome show. I missed Tortoise recently. Kinda sad.

Besides Liberty(Everytime I see any GD related band, I get a Liberty:!) that was my only other song to take a cig break. Ugh. Was pissed when they played that in the ballad slot...then the next night was hoping for anything besides a Black Peter and...well at least they crushed the outro.

Please come back and tell us how it was. :)

incredible show! they played for about 2 1/2 hours and it was the closest ive ever been to the stage with assigned seats. i will definitely be ordering presale tickets again when they come back around. :)

i did take some pictures, but not many came out that good. i will post them when i get em on my computer.

10/28 Built to Spill and 1/9 Sonic Youth are the only shows on my tab for the next couple months because I've been saving for 10/29-11/1 Phish and the festivities.

Coool Sonic Youth is on tour!!!!!! Saw them back in 2000 in the a NYC ghosts and flowers tour and a thunderstorm came during their set.....I think it was one of my top 3 ahows ever, I missed them last March in Chile where they played an AWESOME setlist of loads of their albums...Yeah I have one of jmy guitars tuned in G-C-G-x-D#-D# gonna rock out Total Trash and then get mellow and easy and sing No Queen Blues! Gotta see them again before I die....sadly until I get out of this shitty country I wont be abl to see any of the bands I'm dying to see... Can't complain though, been to my fair share of gigs!! But nothing exciting on the horizon...oh please avoid Tortoise, I nodded out during their show and was stone cold sober.... :P

Oh I could have seen Depeche Mode and The Pet Shop Boys last week....lol those are the kind of shows we get down here....and I know many of you adore Depeche Mode, I don't, I'lll just leave it at that.... Pet Shop Boys would have been a fun show....but 120$ for general admission, fuck that!!!

Derek Trucks Band - 11/4
Dark Star Orchestra - 11/7, 11/24

I can't stand recent Allman Bros Band shows, and I have only heard a few recordings, but Derek Trucks Band sounds way more up my alley.

hatebreed cannibal corpse december 12 (? could be different day), paladium, worcester, MA.
i stopped listening to this type of music because it puts me in an antisocial, negative mindstate.
but, i know all the songs, and a show like this has an energy level through the roof.
