Burning Man FULL SPEED AHEAD!!!

saw a couple femi shows last month. you can see the entire universe in his horn section.

just saw a whole bunch of new live acts i hadnt seen before. Xavier Rudd deserves an honorable mention.

saw Yonder Mountian String Band 2 weeks ago. call me a hippie but they can make me dance harder than anything else ive seen all summer...or the summer before that. seductive bluegrassssssssssss mmmmm.

They fucking rule. I haven't seen them in a few years, far too long :D

I saw PEARL JAM play their only 2007 concert date last night at Lollapalooza. They completely ROCKED my world, as always. For their encore Ben Harper came out and sang an antiwar tune with Eddie Vedder =D Best show I've seen in 2007, bar none!

Fans of this band, one of the pioneers in the noise/experimental hardcore scene, rejoice. They are doing a full US tour and more importantly (in my opinion), writing new material...this time for real (or so they say). :D
 
the flaming lips @ the uptown theater (an awesome venue!) sept. 12th

wheee! i'm super pumped for this show...the crew i'm going with will all be dressed in costumes, we're releasing about 3.5 dozen various inflatable animals/ astronauts/ balls/ etc. into the crowd, and probably 1,000 glowsticks. it's gonna be so fuckin' cool =D

and there's a free lips show up in madison on the 8th that i'm really hoping to make it to...

I didn't know of that til the day before but I did end up making it there and had an awesome time =D
