This looks like a blast, I didn't know Discharge was still playing, I wonder how they sound these days. I saw Conflict a few months back, while not the tightest live band around they were tolerable and they played most of the stuff off Employing All Means that I wanted to hear. But fucking Discharge man, one of my favorites out of the old U.K. scene.

so this isn't an "upcoming" show, but tickets to see the black crowes at the warfield fell into my lap last weekend and they were awesome! i realize it's been 15 years or so since their glory days, but if you get a chance to see them again you definitely should. they are still fantastic musicians (lots of soulful jamming), chris robinson has retained all sexiness in his little hippie dance, and they were loads of fun to watch and sing along to. roll up a joint or two and catch these guys if they come through your town :)

^I missed their free show at the Taste of Chicago because of something or other. :(

I did get to see The Police last week though, which was pretty fuckin' cool. I was pleased it was just the three of them up there baring it all--including the flubs. They really took some chances during the live show and didn't rely at all on any technological or secondary musician crutches.

SonOF, your one lucky mofo, Unearth kicks ass man, I want to go to Sounds of the Underground tour soo bad, got a kick ass lineup, anyone goin?

I'm seeing the free Spoon show at Schuba's tonight in Chicago!!!

I'm so fucking pumped I can barely see straight. My first time seeing them and it's at a 325 capacity rock club. I fully expect my face to be melted off.
