My Jello is all a jigglin' to go see Sufjan Stevens too. For some reason I thought it would have been tough to go see him, but I was actually able to get awesome seats. :D :D :D

aug 5 @ nassau colliseum, li- warped tour

aug 11 and 13 @ ritual, li- VOD!!!! (and others, but who the fuck cares?)

aug 18 @ asbury park, nj- god forbid, for the love of, nora, agents of man

aug 29 @ ritual, li- throwdown, zao, evergreen terrace



that's about it. this is turning out to be a VERY slow. uneventful summer as far as shows are concerned.

The butterfly effect are a rather large band over here, and hopefully they will get some time in the states, their latest album Imago was produced by the same dude that did 10,000 days :D

It's true, I would go no matter who VOD was playing with, but it just so happens that God Forbid is playing the show on the 11th and Candiria is playing the show on the 13th! I was planning on going on the 13th, but God Forbid might force me to go to both!
 
^^^i was going to both regardless. but agents of man on friday and candiria on sunday pretty much sealed the deal for me. keep an eye out for me- i'm sure the place will be ridiculously packed and our odds of bumping into each other are rather slim.

You are right though, that place will be packed beyond belief.

they're last shows (ever) are that week. the 11th and 13th they'll be on long island (where dan and i will be). the 12th they're playing in massachusettes or somewhere around there.

but yeah... the 11th and 13th are a 'dvd shoot'. they really only reunited temporarily because they all need money- side projects aren't going that well. however, once this dvd is filmed, they're done for good... allegedly. or at least for now.

you should defniitely try to head over! that'd be awesome! let me know if you are:)

i don't like the terrace style floor.

i always end up stuck in the back of one of the terraces and i end up feeling really disconnected from the show.

I hope I don't filmed for the the DVD falling on my ass or something, but sometimes these things are inevitable. :)
 
Hot Chip blew my circuitry tonight. Fried. Probabaly the best live show I have ever witnessed. So much energy.
