yeah, but it is strange. fran's still getting used to it.

I was impressed that they did Short Stories with Tragic Endings and Fran sang the female parts.

side note: that was the first "heavy" (ie with pits) show I went to with my girlfriend, and she got punched in the arm. lol

3/7 The Roots and Lupe Fiasco (co-headline) @ The Norva

Despite the fact that they've never been as good live as I want them to be, I can't say no to the Roots. And I'm looking forward to Lupe because it's something new to me... somehow I've managed to hear only one song of his ever.

yeah, they did "short stories" last year (around christmas-time-ish) and fran was the chick as well. haha.

that's cool that you got the woman out to a show. hope she took her punch like a man and will go out more to shows so i can meet her too!

Pixies!!! march 28th at the palace for a solo show. And again April 7th with the New York Dolls, Phoenix and Jarvis Cocker at Myer Music Bowl.

I have had a huge month musically, catching Femi Kuti, Gotan Project, Fat Freddy's Drop, Augie March and the Mahotela Queens at WOMAD in Adelaide. Before then, Yo La Tengo and Peaches at the POW, and Sodastream's last gig at the East Brunswick Club (I cried through most of the gig).

All excellent gigs with Femi Kuti and Sodastream being the highlights.

Jagermeister Tour April 6th @ Roseland NYC

Stone Sour
Shadows Fall
Lacuna Coil

Mostly going to get my ass rocked by Shadows Fall, but I do enjoy Stone Sour and have never seen them before, so I will be interested to see what they are all about live.

Nekromantix
Time Again
@ the gothic in denver

I know the Nekromantix are a trip to see live (seen then 4 times so far, 2 on 4-ho-dipt;)), and Time Again is one of my favorite new bands, so I cant wait to see them.

Oh, And Reveille in july. I cant fucking wait to see Reveille. I have been a huge fan for like 7 years and have not had the chance to see them til now.

Also, Bad Religion, Nofx, The Unseen (I shattered my left arm in the pit the last time I saw them), and The Casualties @ Invesco field on July 8th in denver.

I cant fucking wait until july.
