Honestly the crowd last year was pretty good excluding the bassnectar show. Which was only bad because he had a solo time slot there just wasnt enough room for the whole festival to be at that show. I hope they learned there lesson and will schedule accordingly. But overall i had a great time. O shit i forgot about the forest which is quite possibly the coolest fucking thing ever. I thought it would be cheesy as shit but no it was visually stunning sober rather yet on 2c-e

Calgary's Badlands Music Festival!

Here in my hometown, Calgary, Alberta Canada, will take place the new Calgary Badlands music festival! At our awesome Canada Olympic park. Without these 3 djs, tbh I don't think this event would be much more than just another rave. Afrojack, Kaskade, & the party animal Steve Aoki! I'm surprised on how many tickets have been sold. Groove Cruise 10th Anniversary - 4 days 3 nights - Miami to Cozumel, Mexico...They just released the lineup for the LA boat which is pretty decent if you like house music but the 10th anniversary will be better

I did not see one fight, people were genuinely decent and were following the idea of PLUR. Yes Europe has been doing it longer but EDC is just different. Even last years early closing hasn't changed my mind. My friends and I will be purchasing tickets the 7th.

I have a friend who has been to a couple EDC events (me jealous).

We did see Cosmic Gate in SF this past weekend though. And she told me about Above & Beyond doing a residency in Vegas this summer....hmmmm. ;)
