Boyfriend hasn't come home, really frustrating.

Ok off topic here but I told my gf to quit her job that she hated, she wud be in tears before going there! They took the piss making her work LONG hours while being treat like shit. It does make her more dependant on me, BUT it's allowed her to do LOADS of free courses provided by the job centre, volunteer work and tomorrow has an interview for a job she really wants to do with prospects!
Would that make me controlling?

No , not if she hated it! I think that's great u support her! The reason he also wanted me to quit was because I was on call almost every weekend and my cell would ring non stop and my email would go off all night every night he got tired of me working all the time and not being able to spend time with me ,. He said if I can't spend time with him then he will find someone who can! :/

I agree with DL. I've also been there.

Please try to get out of this relationship sooner than later. The longer you allow this to continue, the more difficult it will be to pick up the pieces future.

This is bothersome to me because I had a bf threaten me with the same. I was struggling to keep my job and worked crazy hours too.

But I thought he was just being dramatic. He found another girlfriend and it seemed cruel but I'm glad I am getting over it best I can
