lets say I have a half pound of pods comin in the mail.. poppaver somniferum

I know how to make tea, and that's all good and fine. I just got cut off my suboxone tho and lost my job and kinda want a pet project to see how far I can go if he can actually extract morphine from the oh-so-bad codein. if i wanted to help reduce the harm to my liver and explain how to get a decent morphine extract from a large amount of pods, i would need a fairly indepth explaination of the process. I am pretty much going to do it with or without my help so any advice would be great. ps. I am dopesick as fuck and don't want to drink a gallon of poppy puke tea.... i know this has been explained before. I looked into it briefly and all the references were very tongue and cheek. i need real links, real explanations. please help. i've had chem classes in college and understand the basics of organic chem. i can do extractions with solvents, i just need the steps, plz understand this is for my stupid friend :D without my help he'l cook down tea and bang that

... If you we're on suboxone poppy tea will do about as much as an aspirin. Honestly, this just seems like a bad idea all around. SORRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Personally I'd make the tea than do extractions, quicker and you get all the goodies.

If the Suboxone has made your tolerance high, try having a really strong tea. Though I'd titrate with the doasge, just to be on the safeside. Strong Poppy Tea stands alongside Heroin and other strong opiates.

you are an idiot.

Harm Reduction or not, we aren't here to give you instructions on how to isolate Morphine or Codeine from poppy pods. Seek the help of a chemist, or at the least a student of chemistry. Making any injectable solution from organic material is a very risky operation, and I would say that in all but a few special cases, it cannot be done safely. Obviously pharmaceutical companies manage to do it, so it is possible, however, it takes a good deal of raw material, and very exacting tolerances with precise instruments - based on your post, I highly doubt that you will be able to perform an extraction that is anywhere near safe to inject, not to mention that the lab equipment to successfully do this costs enough to buy grams and grams of heroin.
