Bought some M. looked at it and was a weird brown jelly

So I have done M many many times. Always been a powder, I have had brown liquorice flavour which was a bit moist but still powdery. The stuff I got this weekend, I opened the cap and it is brown but like a full jelly like substance that to get out i would have to insert a toothpick to scoop it out. The cap was a black and orange one, I am assuming used to cover the fact of what was inside it, as even the cap perked my curiosity and to why I opened it in the first place. Was a good high, last about 45 minutes and then dissipated very quickly. Just curious as to if it is indeed M or something else. I am not sure.
