bottled water

dont get vaccines, dont drink tap water, dont listen to the bullshit fed to us by the NWO.

it seems to be the most amazing tool of the state now days to insert their brainwashing chemical elements in most important aspects of need for life.

the anxiety of thinking that the world is out to get you is far worse for you than tap water.

and NEVER listen to someone who tells you not to get vaccines.

asecin, different american regions have different water contents.

there has been tons of different medications found in public water (tap water),
including anti anxiety meds, sedatives, neurological, etc medications.

there is NO scientific basis for any reason that flouride should be in the water.
Sodium Flouride is the main ingredient in rat poison (obviously in much more concentrated amounts)
and is also a lathargic chemical, causing laziness and and IQ drops.

do people honestly believe that governments and corporations would spend MILLIONS of dollars flouridating water
just to help the population have healthy teeth?

in a glass of 8 ounces of water there is approximately 11mg of flouride.
the same as in a pea sized amount of toothpaste.
the difference is-
YOU DONT SWALLOW TOOTHPASTE.

dont get vaccines, dont drink tap water, dont listen to the bullshit fed to us by the NWO.

open your eyes.

anyways, back to the main subject of the thread...

The American Indians who lived/live in the Death Valley region of the US never showed any bad effects from the 30 - 40 ppm of naturally occuring fluoride.

I will not be insulting but I must disagree...sure, fluorides are poisonous if you take some huge amount. As Paracelsus said, "the dose makes the poison."

Back to the original subject...the compounds you are concerned about are called pthalate esters. They are added to plastics to make them soft. They are not part of the plastic, they are dissolved in it. Hence, they may leach out.

About whether they are harmful. opinions differ. The EU is starting to regulate them.

I have the good fortune to live in NY, NY, which has perhaps the best tap water in the world. SF, CA is comparable. But, lots of places in the US have dreadful tap water filled with unregulated organic compounds with God knows what effect on your health. A Britta filter, I have on good authority, does a good job of cleaning them up.

Bottled water receives water treatment as tap water does. But bottled water comes in a bottle, so you can carry it around it put it in a bag. Bit expensive for some convenience, but most things have a price.

I think I read somewhere this is because some of the drugs are washed into rivers, etc, from sewage facilities, because sewage treatment can't remove some chemicals, like birth control. Not really desirable, but the drugs didn't kill the people who expelled them into the system (in most cases) and they'll be pretty diluted. Obviously it becomes more of a problem if they never break down and simply accumulate, need to tackle the build up.

One of the main reason I am against bottled water is the effect the plastic bottles have on the environment. Out at sea, there are garbage 'islands' made up of plastics. One of the islands of plastic rubbish floating in the ocean is twice the size of the state of Texas, and growing daily. The plastics break down into tiny pieces which are eaten by sea animals and poison them right up the food chain, into the food we eat. 90% of albatross chicks' carcasses contain plastics. In areas of the North Pacific pieces of plastic outweigh zooplankton by 6 to 1. If you're worried about ingesting contaminants and poisons, the Great Pacific Garbage Patch should be far more concerning to you than any misguided hysteria about tap water or flouride.

footcrazy stay on topic. we discuss drinkinkable water that has affects on human health.
if you wanna be all ecological post different thread about it.
either way im sure any normal human being cares foremost about their health then other shit. i guess ur one of those humans who cares about other stuff than her health.
either way, different topic so plz make a thread about it elsewhere.

He is on topic IMO. Just because a discussion doesn't go the way you would like does not make it off topic.

not really. she just tried to insert her concern for the environment into my thread which is not about that at all.

anyway sometimes ill do that in a thread by adding something a bit off topic and mods delete my posts or edit them warning me to stay on topic so i think i can do it as well to tell people to stay on topic when it comes to my threads.

asecin, if you read my post, you'd see that plastic waste affects your health by putting contaminants in your food. How you've somehow conceptualised that as not focusing on human health I don't know 8) It seems very paradoxical of you that you'll directly contribute to contaminating your food sources by drinking bottled water to avoid (your perceived) contaminants in tap water, don't you think?

No I think you'll find that mods edit or unapprove your posts due to abusive content and general douchebaggery. Pull your head in mate. It's much more fun being a likeable character rather than being the guy who leaves a bad taste in everyone's mouth...

I thought cock suckers where the ones with a nasty taste in their mouths ;)

I was just wondering who here has access to a mountain spring direct from the source? Unless you are sitting guru style in the clouds, most water supplies are contaminated by naturally occurring toxins and organic matter. Run off enters all water systems, it is the nature of drainage. There are plenty of healthy reasons why governments use chemicals to ensure clean drinking water for their populations. It is easier to control the population through media propaganda than flouride or chlorine.

Personally I ingest a far greater concoction from the atmosphere than I do from plastic water bottles living in a city all my life. I am more concerned with the environmental impact of plastic bottles than health implications.

Tap water is pretty much guaranteed to be safer than, say, river-water. It's not exactly desirable that hormones/drugs/chemicals/fluoride/whatever has contaminated some water supplies, but a water-born disease poses a far greater risk than any of those things. Lesser of two evils in this case, it would be nice if everything could be perfect, but that isn't how reality works.

but tap water has fluoride

I was born in TX when they had fluoride through the roof in the water. My teeth are stained because of it (which sucks), but it turns out that fluoride helps strengthen your teeth a lot. My teeth are permanently stained, but they are probably healthier than most.

Also, there is evidence of things like mercury and such in tap water which could potentially harm you. The truth is, as someone above already mentioned, many many people around the world are drinking water contaminated with Hepatitis B. Unless you live in a third-world country, this should not be an issue.

Be thankful that you have a government that cares about your sewage system not running into your drinking water. That's where the REAL problems come in.

Until that happens, it's pretty much companies trying to make money off of you to buy water which isn't much healthier (if at all) for you than the tap water in your bathroom.

If you are truly concerned about your tap water, you can simply buy a filter for your sink faucet. They are much cheaper than buying bottled water and they do the exact same thing that bottled water does (again, unless you live in a 3rd world country).
