Borges on philosphy

There is one particular quote from Borges' writings which I particularly treasure. It comes his essay 'Avatars of the Tortoise' and reads as follows:

It is venturesome to think that a co-ordination of words (philosophies are nothing more than that) can resemble the universe very much. It is also venturesome to think that of all these illustrious co-ordinations, one of them - at least in an infinitesimal way - does not resemble the universe a bit more than the others.

I find it a very judicious statement, especially in relation to philosophy and psychedelic drug use.
 
I've been meaning to read this guy's works but if he writes like this all the time I'm not in for the headache. Wasted a bunch of words saying some pretty fucking redundant shit there. One philosophy is best, but I have no idea which one. Thanks, crack another fortune cookie open and give us the next pearl, professor. *rage*
