BOOM 7 Sat. Feb. 7 @ the Asylum - Springfield Mass. w/ Bad Boy Bill

CT: 95 in general sucks ass...all the jersey part can get hellish around rush hour...especially friday rush hour...this route is a very nice drive, it brings you up into the mountains and you get some truly amazing views...

1 note however...you probably do NOT want to take this route if it is snowing, i don't think that would be to safe.

what part of CT are you going to? For me to get to Rocky Hill (Central CT) it takes 7 hours to get to Gaithersburg, which is actually farther south than you. So I'm guessing 6.5-7 hours. My GF will post the directions for you around 6... but im pretty sure you can just take 70 north to 78 west for 2 exits, get on 81...take that to scranton and then hop on 84 and ride that till you get to CT... I don't know exactly where you are going in CT, but 84 can get you to any major highway in CT pretty easily...

Danielson. My friend said normally he would be like 2 minutes from off 395, if I went that way.

Yeah Gaithersburg is about 45 minutes south of me. So yeah....that time frame sounds about right.

And I hope it doesn't snow!! But I agree, if it does, I'm safer on 95. Thank you much I'll be on the lookout for directions :)

Dream: You got it with the G + T's, only with Sapphire of course :-)
I may have to throw in a few dirty martinis though... they are like a snack that get you drunk!

yea, without sapphire it ruins the drink! bombay makes me sick, i hate when i order with sapphire and they pour bombay and dont tell you! woot for drinks & bbb.

danielson is right near me, if ur goin there, ur better off goin route 6 through CT

Generally set times for events aren't announced til WAY closer to the event. This one still has a little less than 4 weeks til the event occurs. Some events don't ever announce set times til the day of the event, and you may not find out until you get to the event :\

If you're coming from the Hartford area you could take 84 to exit 69. that puts you onto route 74 for a few miles till you hit 44 and 44 turns into 101 which goes right into Killingly (and 395). Danielson is a burrough of Killingly. personally i think there are less lights and traffic going this way . either way would work tho, 84 or rt 6

and then there's always the masspike (90) to 290 which turns into 395

^^ I'm coming up all the way from Maryland so... the only road I recognize up there is 395 lol ;)

Thanks for all the help with directions guys. I think I'm leaning towards taking the alternate route that xtcvitality (sp?) mentioned, at least for the drive up on Friday because if I take 95 I will be stuck in rush hour HELL. I'll probably end up making the drive with at least 2 alternate routes plus a map plus a fully charged cell phone that I will surely abuse lol ;)

If there is one thing I'm good at about driving to new places, it's getting lost :p

Hey - I've never been to a rave and I am goin to this one on Feb 7th so i was wondering if you guys could answer some questions.

What can u bring in and not bring in? do u pay for parking? will there be police on duty there? can u bring your own glo stix or water in? can u bring gum in? cigarettes? is there like a "fashionably late" time to show up? is the asylum huge? how many rooms?

Thanks for answering any of these questions. I know I sound like a newbie, but I'm not, just never been to a rave and wanna know what to expect:D

blondie, theres a garage across the street thats like 5 or 10 bux, you can bring all those things in but your own water, dont matter what time u show up, there will be mad people there no mater what time u get there. :)

Since there are no ticket outlets in my state, my friend and I are going to order tickets through www.networkone.com, which from what I can see is the production company throwing the party.

As I said I'm not from the area and I am not familiar with them. Should I feel confident and comfortable ordering tickets through that site? I don't mean to sound like I don't trust the people throwing the party or anything... I'm just curious to know what people think of them.'

I have been screwed before when purchasing tickets through a production company in another state :X I'm just being cautious. But please don't trash talk the company or anything. Unless you have some substantial and well backed-up complaint about them of course. I just want to know if I am ok getting my tickets through that site ;)

Thanks!

I wonder what happened to the spinfoil girl. She doesnt post here anymore. It looks like they dont have any MA events on their listings either.

I'm all about a preparty. It's been far too long, and there are some faces I especially miss. I'm all about the Denny's followed by a bar run. Besides, what better way to coat your stomach for some shots than with pure grease? Yum.

I'm making the trip up for this one. I'd like to know what people's plans are for this. Drop me an email @ [email protected]. I'm trying to check it as often as possible.
