⫸STICKY⫷ Books - Authors & Books Discussion

I’m reading
“the magicians” by lev grossman
“The house of Kennedy” by James patterson
“Children of dune” by frank hebert
“The art of asking” by Amanda palmer
“A liberated mind” by Stephen hayes
“Smart recovery handbook”
“Relic” by Preston and child
And if I can manage to completely about face tomorrow I’m going to read,
“Drive your plow over the bones of the dead” by Olga tokarczuk

I read a lot of books at once. Just casually shifting my interest. The book I’ve been reading the longest is the Patterson one. It’s an awesome book in some ways but absolutely shit in others. Doesn’t help that the kennedys are all carbon copies. But I would love to share with you my insights about the dune series that I garnered from the house of the kennedys. In fact if anyone wants to talk about a book your reading or whatever I’d love to chat books and authors. Idk. Open to friends is all really

Just bought the rest of the death series evolving out of the sandman.

Bought the swamp thing book one by Alan moore

Bought drive your plow over the bones of the dead after a library loan returned and I was just dying for more

just got the audible narration. I’m stoked for the recommendation. Thank you so much.

I’ve been working on this story in my brain for a while and I feel like reading this is going to be just the ticket to get me where I need to be in reference to other works in order to crystallize my own

Not really familiar with the southern gothic beyond Faulkner so this is going to be a real treat.
