BOO 8 ~ OCTOBER 12th ~ NYC

this would be my first pick if i had to choose between this and starscape, but andy and i have decided that we're going to sit these 2 out.

if we don't stop traveling all over the country and going to parties, we're never going to have enough money to move to oregon.

oh well.
 
I will definitely be at this party. I was at BOO 6 and BOO7 which are both on my top 10 list. Even though it was raining and BOO 7 it was a little too cold, the weather doesn't make the party...the VIBE was incredible at both of these events just like it will be for BOO 8!! I was a little disappointed that all the DJ's listed on the BOO 7 flyer didn't spin even though the flyer said RAIN or shine but I still had an incredible time. I also wish BOO 8 was outside at Randels Island (I really like it there) but I'm going anyway and I know inside or outside it's going to be a night to remember especially since it's the last BOO event ever!!
 
Anyone know a hotel that is relatively close to Webster Hall? Im almost definately gonna be going to this and would like to stay close to webster if possible... I really wish there were a couple more Techno djs spinnin at this, but oh well.

I've been to Webster Hall before and a 3000 person limit seems like a fair number to me, I don't think it will be TOO packed, but definately not very open either...

This is the last Boo party, I have to be there for it. I loved both 6 and 7, even though the weather fucked both of them a little (NOT SOE'S FAULT). People really need to stop being so fucking jaded and enjoy things for what they are.
 
It looks like I should be able to attend this, I will be missing school on Monday, but it is close enough to my birthday to use that as an excuse. I really hope that everything works out because this will give me something to look forward to for the next month or so. I will be driving a long way from where I go to school but this will be worth the drive fomr Knoxville, Tn. I am from Cincinnati but this is where I reside during the school year @ U.T. I will post later once I have tickets, but I hope to see some people out for this party, which I'm sure I will. Oh by the way I have been trying to go to Webster Hall for about the past 4 years and now it looks like it is going to be a reality.

once Starscape is over and I've had a fun & VERY memorable time at it, then I'm going to blow up this thread as well for this event.

I can't wait for this party either. All the Boo parties I've been to have be great for me regardless what others had to say. And I'm sure this one especially it being the last SOE Boo event will be an even more spectacular & fun time.

BUT, but one party at a time ;) Starscape then this. I guess I'll be seeing some of you people twice, @ Starscape, then @ Boo
 
this party is quality. I will be making my annual journey from cincinnati to nyc once again this october. Pass props to the stuck on earth crew.
 
BOO 6 was the shit. missed boo 7.

i'm not psyched about the venue although this will probably be the one event that will drag me there.

glaude is the MAN and dj dan also kicks ass.....will be interesting to hear christopher lawrence again although i'm not into trance that much anymore...

should be a fun event.
 
I think DJ Dan is shit. Wait, nm he just spins shit. The only thing this party has going is the venue, I'm going to spend 40 bucks for a party when the only thing that caught my eye on the flyer is the fucking venue. Someone needs to start getting non-shitty DJs to spin at their parties, soe sure went all out on this party.......................................................................
 
^There are "non-shitty" dj's. Danny the wildchild is ILL, Scott Henry is ILL, Feelgood is ILL, Funk is ILL, Circuit Breaker is ILL, and my boy Lenny isn't the most technically skilled dj, but always rips shit up and reprezents BK style.
 
I would have to disagree. I have seen all of them spin, they might have skills at spining, but skills don't mean shit when you have a garbage track selection except for danny the wildchild and circuit breaker who have an alright track selection, but are still just so so. This is a party with all "so so" or worse djs. Whether or not a DJ sucks or is god is totally opinion, but this party does not have the talent to charge 40 bucks imo.
 
ive seen dj dan and donald glaude and had a great time at both events. dans tracks start to sound the same after a bit (typical of hard house imo) but i still danced like mad. glaude had a great track selection.

and even though odi is at every party, he knows how to work a dnb room. he knows what nyc people want. he has great skills, great tracks, and works that shit :D

all that being said, i still dont think we'll be at boo
 
I am now 99% sure that I will not be going to Boo.

I've been informed that I *have* to go to Boston the night before with 3 girlfriends for one's birthday, we're taking her out clubbing since she's been to Boston only once before, and it was daytime so we didn't do much but shop. And when that sounds more appealing than Boo 8 in NYC, you know you have a problem.

It's just not worth the drive and the $$ to me I guess. :\

yes yes soe sucks, but it is the final boo... the fact that it can't get rained out is a plus for me.... at webster hall, not tooo sure about... nice dj's for 12 hours is a ++.... 40 bucks, is of course a down but all parties are expenise now a days~~> but for 12 hours, not tooo bad.... if i have the money after starscape i will be there!! i am just goin to go to dance my ass off and make it a good ole time =D
 
awww shit I just found out its one of my girlie-gurl's, one of my good friends' B-day and she's celebrating the same wknd of the last Boo event, so I'm FOR SURE MOST DEFINITELY coming up to her crib in NY for her and doublely for the last Boo event!! %)

besides all that, its NY, goodness I luv that city =D
