Damian Marley/Nas is the best act on that bill- FACT! Srsly, they put on one hell of a show. Check out some utoob videos from their tour last summer. The way they incorporate each others songs within the show is amazing. Nas has a song called One Love, it is a Nas classic, just an overall great rap song. So when they do the Nas "One Love" and then transition from that right into Damain Marley singing his dad's classic "One Love" well, that is just the exact kind of thing that you need to be seeing at a festival with 20,000 or so other people in the field watching. Fucking amazing.

Also, how can you not like hearing "Welcome to Jamrock" when at a festival? Impossible. I am a huge fan of both Nas and Damian Marley (Damian Marley is one the Marley who actually made his own sound, and his multiple Grammy awards are proof of this). The two of them together is fucking tight.
 
I bought a first-tier ticket during the holiday pre-sale. Lineup's not as good as last year, but I still wouldn't miss it for anything.
 
Lotus, B.O.B. Went to the 07 and 08 roos, 07 was fantastic, Tool was insane. 08 not soo much still had a good time. I feel that one visit is satisfactory, unless the lineup is truly worth the $200+ ticket and the trekin.

I've been the last 4 years and have never paid over 150 for a ticket, at the last minute on ebay or craigslist...
 
Last year wasn't the best, but it is always a good time. I can't wait until this years!! yayaya.
