I too have female friends, hot ones at that...it's not like Im fantasizing about slinging dingaling when I am with them but they are cuddly, and touchy , and shit fuck shit! It's like a 'go' button

I talked to friend with cozy hug yesterday, I was like...'um, did you happen to feel um you know the other night when I was leaving?'

at first she 'lolwatted' me and Im like - come on , you had to have felt it
she got a bit embarrassed and said 'yeah, but its cool ..youre a guy'

I'm a girl, and i love it! I definitely find it a huge turn-on, and a compliment.

However, this is referring to guys that I am involved with.

I think in the case of a female friend (eg. the one you described) i would find it a bit weird, and i would probably think they had the hots for me, but it wouldn't bother me so to speak. I'd probably have a similar reaction to your friend "meh, you're a guy, it happens". But potentially a little weird, depending on who it was.

One positive example i can give you is when i had gone on a few dates with a guy i liked, but we hadn't hooked up yet at all. I didn't know if he felt the same way- if he was considering these hang-outs as 'dates' or if i had misinterpreted the whole thing and we were just hanging as friends. But one night when i was hugging him goodbye i felt the ol' boner, and immediately felt more reassured about the situation :P
 
Ive always gotten a boner when kissing a girl. Even if a girl whispers in my ear, I will catch a semi.....just the way it is. I once told this hot chick I started to kiss that I wish I could take a pill that would keep my dick from geting hard because I just wanted to kiss w/o an erection & she slapped me in the arm & said, dont ever say that because some guys cant get it up.

She also stated that she liked when I got hard when we kissed because it showed she was sexy enough to get me hard & she liked that.

Dont forget that girls are more emotional about the kissing/dating thing so when a girl knows she can arouse you on command, she feels special.

For instance: first date, kiss at the end of the night and you get a raging boner pressed up against you ..thought maybe there would be a 'geez, this guy just wants to have sex with me' reaction vs. dumby just cant control himself

Ill admit, being the pervert that I am these days and having lost any insecurities and ready to get naked at the drop of a hat....I make every effort to ensure she is feeling it! but in my younger years , I really did get nervous/embarrased

Embarrassing is getting a boner at the beach and my wet swim trunks sticking to my inner thigh....and there are women and children everywhere. I kind of just try to conceal it and walk backwards....other than that, I love having a boner. I especially love getting rid of a boner, temporarily that is. Mine must be set on a timer. Every morning @ about 8 am, that's how I wake up, on my boner. I am forced to jerk-off just so i can go back to sleep. Poor me hehe
