I've heard a few rumours from friends in london who believe the casualty list is going to rise rapidly - to near 200.![]()

I was told to get off the train i was on at kings cross at about 9:30am and was also told that the underground network was totally closed down. Got out into the street and there were people everywhere and police shouting at people to move away and get out of the area completely. I've never ever seen police in this kind of situation saying anything but "stay calm" etc. so I knew it was something serious.
Had no idea what was going on except for Looper sending me a message about some explosions, so tried to walk into central london where i work. There were police cordons everywhere and troops of police and police cars/ambulances racing around everywhere. I soon realised that the road blocks were moving back towards me. I heard one woman ask a policeman how to walk to oxford st and he said "Walking to Oxford St is the LEAST of your worries right now", so I gave up on getting to work.
I managed to walk a huge round route around Kings Cross and Euston which were completely cordoned off and walk up through camden to kentish town and got a thameslink station up and out. Back in Herts now and pretty glad.
If I'd have been assed to get out of bed to get to work on time I might well have been dead. Like I always say: Sleep to win.
