Bupe Boiling a sub strip before shooting?

A friend of mine showed me this. I don't normally shoot suboxone until recently, I would only shoot tex, and I'd sniff sub pills if I had them, or get like 4 uses subilingually out of a strip. I shot suboxone once and even cotton filtering like 3-4 times it still felt dirty. Now as you know if you have tried to shoot a strip, if you just let it sit in the water for a couple minutes it starts to dissolve on its own, and it mixes in fine. Now if you draw it up its still pretty orange and is reguardless much like the pill, but my boy showed me a method in which he puts like 1/10th of a strip and puts it on the concave bottom of a soda can, and after mixing it in cooks it for approx 1 second or just enough so that it starts to bubble up. He drew it up and the solution was almost clear. I just did that, and I have been doing it a few times, but I can't tell if that process is really making it healthier to shoot. Has anybody else done or heard of this?

NO. You NEVER apply heat to any pharmaceutical opiate under ANY circumstances.

It is making it LESS healthy by allowing the inactive ingredients to melt into the solution, and usually do not have time to precipitate out again prior to filtration. It is pointless, it is dangerous.

Buprenorphine (the active ingridient in suboxone) dissolves in room temperature water. Some of the inactive binders do not. Heating the solution allows these inactive binders to dissolve into the solution, in which case they will make it through the filter and end up in your veins. Therefore, it is unhealthy, unsafe, and unnecessary. Do your friend a favor and relay this information to him. It could end up saving his life or a limb or two.

If you want to see how nasty this is for your veins, boil the strip down, draw it up and let it sit in the syringe for a few hours. Then try to see if you can shoot the solution out.(not in your ad, in the sink or something)

Most likely it will be clogged due to the binders resolidifying.

aight I got it I'm not planning on doing that anymore, is this all that negative toward shooting strips in general or the heating it up first part?
