When I take acid my body starts to ache, mostly in my arms and shoulders. It is like my body on acid "demands" that I have a better posture, otherwise it keeps bugging me.

The only way to prevent this is to push my shoulders far back and holding my arms out like jesus on the cross. Also pushing my chest out and stretch my whole body upwards helps. This is very exhausting after a while though :(

I think it is because I have a poor posture normally and when on psychedelics my brain and body "dislike" this more than usual. I know it sounds a bit crazy, but unfortunately this problem is all too real.

Has anyone else had similar problems? Is there anything I can do to make it to go away?

moving about is a great help - nothing out of the ordinary just don't / lie in one position for too long. taking a small walk around your room, the stretches that they suggest you do during a long flight etc.

I've had these sortsa problems on L many times in the past, & I've not taken LSD for over a decade because these symptoms were so annoying during a trip. I rarely sit still on any psychedelic so moving about is not the issue. I have only rarely tipped on LSD & NOT suffered some irritating physical tension symptoms. I find some other psychedlics have caused similar side-effects but not to the same degree or for the same duration as LSD.

Interesting that I read in this thread http://www.bluelight.ru/vb/threads/651898-Needle-Point-Lsd that it is in fact lower quality LSD that causes these effects & if one sources perfectly clear, crystilline LSD one does not suffer these uncomfortable feelings...

My lower back usually starts to ache when im on acid. No idea really why. Sometimes i think its just because of all the dancing :)
Of course dancing for 4-8 hours makes your back hurt a bit, but the back ache is more pronounced on acid and can sometimes ruin the high. I havent noticed the same problem with other psychedelics even if ive been dancing just as much... Well mushrooms are an exception, but mushrooms are mushrooms :P

This has pretty much been my experience every time, along with mild flu-like symptoms. The lower back pains are particularly annoying.
