Seattle police say a man naked from the waist down went on a rampage while high on alcohol, ecstasy, marijuana and mushrooms

A 22-year-old man is accused of causing just under half a million dollars worth of damage after allegedly stealing a boat and ramming it into other vessels.

Michael Allan Bray, who was high and half-naked at the time, claims he was trying to get away from a ninja when he stole the 42ft motor yacht.

In charging documents filed last week, King County prosecutors say the Texas man admitted to police that he had consumed alcohol, ecstasy, marijuana and psilocybin mushrooms before the incident in Portage Bay.

Reports suggest that Bray broke into a 1987 Bayliner yacht, Par-a-gon, moored at the Queen City Yacht Club, found the vessel's key and started the engine.

He then proceeded to ram into several other boats, boat sheds and docks, causing an estimated $483,000 of damage.

One witness, David Svendsen, was worried that the stolen boat would crash into vessels with people on board and fired a shotgun filled with birdshot through the window of the Par-a-gon, in an attempt to stop Bray.

"A prosecutor told the court: "The defendant was very agitated and told officers that he was a CIA operative and had been pursued throughout the day by an ‘Asian female ninja' who had been trying to kill him."

Anytime I have someone talk to me about ninjas and the cia in the same sentence.. I smile lovingly, maintain unthreatening eye contact, and back of the room keeping and appropriate distance between me and that person. Ouch kido have fun paying that back... More isn't always better.. shot in the face with bird shot, lots of felonies, and debt to pay for the rest of his life.. man it pays to keep psycoses out of your drug taking experience with a little common sense. Glad no one but him got hurt.

What the fuck? He tried to shoot him with a fucking shotgun? To "stop" him? 8o

Probably good he did as if the police had got there before that they probably would have killed him, rite?

it always scares the tits off of me hearing how easy it is for "good citizens" to shoot one another

seriously, why is 90% of the population obsessed with the 'righteous' killing of people over trivial shit?

I blame action movies, like the lead badass always steals boats and shit and gets away scotch free.

When I am high on mushrooms and MDMA, the ninjas always chase me, too.

En serio: if he hadn't combined all of those drugs, he could have had a good time and avoided all the probs.
Even if he had just not taken the alcohol, it could be that things would have been much better, although with a high enough dose of shrooms, people can freak out maximally as well.

Moral of story: mixing so many drugs can be bad, and mixing those drugs in particular (ecstasy and alcohol? come on!) is bad, and taking too many drugs is bad.
Nearly everyone has to learn these lessons. This guy is just learning them very, very strongly.

I am with you on this one!

Sounds like wintness David Svendsen , who tries to solve problems with shotguns is the real danger to public safety.

Moral of story is don't leave your keys in the boat, ya dumby.

Lol I love articles like this makes me wish I'd see some crazy antics like that. Ill the insane people I've been around wanna get naked and scream. I would love if one of them could have gone that creative.

But serious question. How does someone on that many drugs get on to and then start the boat? Not only does it take keys but how did he manage to perform the needed tasks without getting confused or forget the goal?

Admittedly, it is unnerving to be around someone who is clearly disconnected from reality, at least when you don't know what they're on. That being said, the guy was probably itching to shoot someone. I know it wasn't Texas, but I think Americans in general have a gun fetish. When you own guns and support people being able to purchase them, but are called a freedom-hating liberal for merely suggesting that a record of owners should be kept to prevent ex-cons from buying them, something is wrong with your society's debate on the issue. I doubt Washington is a 'Stand-Your-Ground State,'but I doubt the guy was ever at risk of facing criminal charges. He'll be hailed as a hero for stopping a *Gasp* dangerous drug-user.

Bird shot won't kill him

sure it could. just like a .50bmg wont kill a bear....if you miss it. birdshot coming out of a 12ga from close distance would pepper his flesh into ground meat. now howfar he was would obviously be the key, if he was more than 25 yards the spread patter would be really wide but would still fuck him up putting tiny bits of lead into him.

the guy shouldnt of fired at the kid even if he had rock salt in his shot gun, hes not a cop. and hes not in a critical self defence situation, he was worried about other ppl, whichii totally get, but whipping out that mossy 500 or 870 shouldnt be the first thing to do, no matter what its loaded with.

i guess i stil go with you only shoot at something you want to kill.

hilarious story tho otherwise lol...i mean the kid has some serious issues besides the drugs, that just makes it seem like the drugs were responsible when he clearly had other things trweeking in his brain. hes going to probably get off with a psych defense...just a guess.
