'Blunt' joke at drive-through leads to arrest of Burger King customer

no matter what, smoking weed and driving is wrong.

An unequivocal, moral wrong? I beg to disagree. Is it dangerous for people who aren't used to the effects of cannabis to get blasted and drive? Yes. Is it wrong to put people's lives in danger (unlikely, but possibly) by doing so? Yes, I'd agree.

But there are a lot of people who smoke marijuana either medically or are just really tolerant to the stuff and it has absolutely no effect on their driving.

Kind of like saying having one or two beers and then driving is "wrong". That's a bit of a stretch, in most cases.

Or maybe another example, saying someone who is on Suboxone medication should not drive, because that is "wrong". I know even a half mg of suboxone would fuck me up... but I have friends who can handle 8mg and that is what they are prescribed... do they appear sober to me? Not really, but society accepts that at least they're not doing heroin and it's legal for them to drive.
