not sure if i voted for final round, but i'm going for Jimmy Hendrix... feel pretty strongly about that over pink floyd.
 
despite the fact i have the band of Gypsies cd, my mind won't remember he spelt it "JIMI".. it just says just"hendrix" on the cover though for that album.

True enough, Syd had a hard life, but really how many of you regularly or even occasionally listen to Barretts work?
Unfortunately he struggled with severe mental illness with reports of his behavior indicating Schizophrenia.

Some sources indicate that the mental health symptoms were caused by the use of psychedelic drugs especially lsd, but now that we are are in modern times we clearly know that lsd does not cause Schizophrenia, it can however bring on early onset of the disease. He seems to have developed the condition close, maybe a little late, to the traditional time period.

He lived until 2006.

Anyone can piss on my grave as I certainly will no longer give one fuck at all.. have at it.

If I angered anyone enough to compel them to make the effort to piss on my grave they did something stupid wrong and had it coming.

Just to nitpick, though. Maybe they are 80's (etc.) radio artists. The Airplane, CSN&Y, Neil Young (especially), and Traffic got plenty of airplay. They're surely "classic".

No, the original Jefferson Airplane had two of the greatest classic rock songs, but Jefferson Starship did not build no city on rock and roll. CSN&Y, how are you gonna to compare them to band like the Rolling Stones, The Who, Led Zeppelin, The Doors, Pink Floyd, Black Sabbath, ZZ Top, AC DC, Jimi Hendrix whatever, The Beatles( I don't like them but still), he'll Metallica is at least 40 years a band, Slayer also, almost, Elton John( not a fan, but talented) and before Jimi there was Chuck Berry, Eric Clapton( not a fan), ect ect

Did I say shit about the dead? Phish, however sucks. REM is better than them and they are wuss music( yeah I like some of their older stuff, I admit. Only so much: Death, Metallica, Slayer,The Doors, ACDC, ZZ Top and Led Zeppelin I can listen too along with a bunch of other bands. Yeah I said what I wanted and will shut the Hell up.

Slow your roll J. I fucking can't stand most phish.. shit almost all sounds the same to me. I like a couple tunes 4 sure but you wouldnt catch me dead at a phish show. Hey, I wasn't responding to your post.. no worries just a heads up. it happens.. ive done it.
