Jimmy Hendrix wins, although i might enjoy some of David Bowies hits better than hendrix, but there is no way do i think Bowie rocked harder than Hendrix, and i honestly just can't get into a great deal of David Bowies music.

Rolling Stones ( even though I've been tired of them for years, I do really like their period with Mick Jones a lot. And Pink Floyd, well gotta love them but...))

Led Zeppelin ( I was sick of them for years but have renewed my appreciation, great band! Sure do like Santana though))

Bowie ( though Hendrix's potential when he died was amazing)

Lynrd Skynrd ( my roots music. I like the Police but Sting is so full of himself)

Next round is going to be tough!

Now that I have the song Kooks stuck in my head, I'm a gonna change my vote to Bowie. Hendrix was an incredible talent, but his career was very short and honestly, I never bother to listen to him anymore, whereas I do listen to Bowie
 
In Santiago is a subway station named "Los Héroes". I happened to be in Santiago the day after Bowie's death was announced, and the word "Los" on all the signs had been covered with cardboard or tape, making them read "Heroes".
I might even have a picture of it.

have a friend coming over later today who was at that (legendary) show (the utter bitch... although I couldn't have gone anyway being under 10 years old at the time heh) - Hammersmith Odeon the night Bowie 'killed off' the Ziggy personna

You also said both David Bowie and Queen were meh so idk if I trust your judgement...

I am surprised that both the police and Lynyrd skynyrd have gotten this far, but honestly Skynyrd gets kind of typecast in popular cultures eyes I think honestly, by their famous songs like sweet home Alabama and stuff but they were all ridiculously talented musicians. Police talented too but I think them being here in the semi finals or whatever is the most flukiest
