Bluelighters you miss

I miss my mods. :(

Come to think of it, I miss the other mods too. What became of Plaz, anyway?
 
Indeed. Pure champion. Security guard in Canberra last time I PM spoke to him. Which is a contradiction of sorts but purely hilarious as well. Keep your friends close and your enemies...

Most of all, I guess I miss psychokitten.

I miss a fuckload of WA bluelighters (I knew fucking heaps of you guys.. don't see any really anymore). The WA one that most captivated me? Miss Flea. I wish that things had gone differently. But I was a bit crazy. I guess we both were.

I miss all of you guys. I hope Stacey (over east) is doing well. I've been thinking of her lately for some reason. Actually I hope everyone over there is doing great. :)
 
As far as online perceptions go I always thought psychokitten was a complete cunt. Having never met her I can't comment any further than that.

2002-2004 were pretty crazy days with some of Brisbane BL crew, they introduced me a lot of things, I am sure I did the same to them :D

Left Brisbane, then worked on Great Keppel Island, then moved to Cradle Mountain, Tasmania, now just moved here on the Limestone Coast, South Australia.

I am happy, I am just totally over the party lollies, I just arent getting any younger. ;)

I do think of some of the Brisbane Crew these days.

I LOVE the names in Australia. Who would ever think to name something "Tasmania" or "Limestone Coast"?

I worked 17 years at a company that built roads and utilities (SE USA). Part of my job was to name the roads when we filed the maps. My boss almost always veto'd my good names.

"White Chapel Way" caused a bit of a stir at the County Manager's office. I read a book about JACK the Ripper and his criminal career was mostly on "White Chapel Way". I had to think up a name to put on a map we were filing and that name jumped into my head. The local Count did not want to name it something frighting.

Sorry to get off topic.

I lurked here some in 2000 or 2001. Remember "Phreex" and I think I met a guy named "Lynx" on this site.

Stace and Kitty are both doing really well atm. Most others I don't really hear from these days, kinda move in different circles these days due to being away for so long. :)

she was uber nazi-mod - maybe just before your time? i know she seemed okay when i joined, yet others had beef.

personally i think she fucking rocks. haven't seen her nor hardi in decades though. probably the whole living-in-another-country thing. selfish bastards.

Im feeling all sentimental about Fatz and his chicken fetish. My dinner reminded me of the lack of roast chook around here.

Pretty happy though as he (I assume) is doing pretty good.

Dont miss him in 3D life, never spent much time with him at all anyway- I miss his contribution to the board.




Its cool to keep up to date with people you clicked with on the board through other means but still, when they take their personalities away from this place, they take away part of what made it a fun time passer.

I miss GL, no way to keep up with where he is, and even if I did, hes not around to mess around with anymore. :(
