i use to know keystroke before he was a bluelighter... i did not introduce him to bluelight, we just randomly worked out we were both bluelighters in the end

i miss him also, both his online persona and his real life friendship that we had pre-bluelight... we had an argument over something that never occurred one night at a meet and it was never the same

Naughtiest_Maximus - i caught up with him at the start of the year (i think marchish) with astrosmurf at newtown... he is still kickin' obviously avoiding bluelight like the plauge and yeah, impossible to really get a hold of in the real world.

Halo_99 - i met him at the big day out in 05, we partied like dirty animals in the boiler room.. .fuckin gurnfest... he disappeared after that.. .

skinlab - met him once or twice and events and also a few random times around the shire. At splendour 04, he really helped me out and i will never ever be able to repay him enough for that

grunef - met him at the same splendour that i met starfalls, and astrosmurf. top bloke, had a good beer and chat with him, he and his mate lifted me on their shoulders during "whats golden" by Jurassic 5 when i was pretty down in the fuckin dumps... what a night!

he was tops. always used to see him out when i was completely mashed and he was relatively sober. despite my embarrassing presentations he was always friendly.

Plazma as well then I guess. Though he did his post once in the old school thread because I've secretly been lurking the whole time waiting for someone to bump it thing.

i know i'm posting a lot more lately, but i don't think it will remain so. is it just me, or is there less interesting stuff going on? i know i'm now one of those jaded fuckers, but i remember many front page aus social threads with multi-paragraph responses and great debates. or at least great slanging matches.

where'd they go? :(
 
I think I drank for one too many years straight to bother much with lengthy responses personally. Plus it's all just arguing with the same people. I know what they're going to say, they know what I'm going to say.

Maybe fresh blood with strong opinions is needed. You can't blame all these youngsters for posting ADHD-like. They all had Howard government educations (as did I but...).

Essentially, I think the internet used to just be for us strange folk. Now every moron has a computer.
 
sure. i mean, i've got 14,000 posts and probably 10,000 + of those are "lol" so i can't talk about quantity/quality.

you might be right on the fresh blood thing. we must indoctrinate the youngsters and ply them with drugs.

What am I going to do with all this confetti I have collected just for you?

Ill just head back to the singles thread in between planning my overseas holiday, interstate booty call, you know- all the things that I still have to put up with being single and all.

Wish I could be stuck with worrying about my weight for my wedding day again. That was fun. :(

hahahaha oh I had a terrible wedding dress shopping experience. The shop assistant girl thought I was pregnant and made all these comments about putting on a dress size or 3 which I choose to ignore and I said I'm going to be dropping a dress size or 3. 8o

Then she asked when I was due - not whether or not I was pregnant - when I was due.

I couldn't get out of there fast enough!
