I'd like to propose a new rule for the 'This is your life' series... Whoever is the subject of each weeks thread, gets to start the next week.

So....this week...This is your life:

VURTOMATIC

While I'm yet to meet Vurt, I've chatted to him on a couple of occasions and he seems to be an all round nice guy (not to mention rather cute - see the pics thread!!)

Not only a hard working social mod, Vurt also writes some of the most beautiful poetry I've read. If you have visited the words forum in bluelight, you don't know what you are missing out on. I always look forward to new posts from Vurt.

Hope we get to meet up sometime in the future!!

Vurt seems to be a bit of a man of mystery, but I'm sure some of you must have some stories to tell, so post away...

Kat - great new rule, lets see if people can stick with it.

There is so much I could say about vurt, he is the sweetest, most amazingly caring and sensative guy. There has been many a late night IRC conversation with this man that has made me view life in different ways, he's intelligent, caring and insightful and he gives great hugs :)

Vurt is such a sweetheart and I adore him to bits.

met vurtomatic at earthcore last year. but he doesnt remember meeting me waaaah!!!

been talking to him on irc on the bluelight singles room :) tho i dont know if that room is still up but anyway.

He made it possible for me to meet and have a chat to Richie Hawtin last year at WOTW. MAN, never be able to repay you. :D

Always been good times, none bad, but not enough. Should get together soon. :D
 
Yeah, since first chatting with Vurty on irc all that time ago ive always respected the dude. Met the character at earthcore also lsat year, and he was a lovely guy. Altho i don't speak to ya vurt anymore, i still remember our old irc cnversations with a smile :)

And yep i also enjoy his poetry... :) Keep it up Kid.
 
The man won't stop following me around!!! =D Good to see there are some people who have been around a long time but aren't so jaded that they never go out.
 
i remember driving through central melbourne late last year with PsychoKitten and DeeCee when DeeCee yells out 'there's vurt!!'. so i pulled up straight away, and dc ran after him, and that's how i first got to meet our vurtomatic. top bloke, nice is what i'd call him, writes top poetry, a perfectionist if ever there was one.

but, as haste so aptly put it, the guy's into progressive big time. i don't think i can trust him too much :p.

He writes good poetry.

I mean, those two alone would make him well worth meeting in my opinion. But the fact that from most of my conversations with him, I've gotten the impression of an intriguing sort of guy, places him fairly damn high up on the 'to meet' list. ;)

we only chat occasionally on msn but he seems to be the type of guy that is very grounded and down to earth and by his poetry in 'words' he has a very beautiful spirit :)

Got here as a mod just after me... the two of us did it alone for a while, and there's no-one I'd have rather done it with.

As a mod, he's a robot. By that I mean he's damn *consistent*, which is damn hard to find, and for that I consider him the best mod I know (including me *heh*), along with BT who has the same quality.

You rock Vurt. I mean that from the heart man... and I honestly hope you never fucking retire, because Aus Social will be the big loser. I know you won't stay on forever, but we should all be fucking praying you do.

well after many an irc chats and reading his works and a few email pm thingys...its safe to say that vurt is a top guy.

im still yet to meet him and maybe one day i will... instead of sitting on a tram with a firend going...is that vurt on the path? dude u seem to pop up everywhere...getting messages via people on trains from him...hun when i get my butt into gear...we will have that drink sess hun...i promise ;)

Vurts a fantastic guy. An allround nice guy, much like myself, quiet yet outspoken when needed. =D
I've never met Vurt in person, but we've had many on online chat, swapping relationship stories. He's a great listener, and great writer. :)
