Long time lurker first time poster.
Opiates (specifically ones you can IV) are my thing.
I cant find them right now because I moved out of Seattle to Nashville.
I lurk on here to get a contact high off reading about rigs, cookers and tar.
I also hope to help a few people and contribute my knowledge and well rounded drug experience. Maybe even meet people in my area with similar interests.

Hey NakedJunkieLunch, welcome to Bluelight!

Just wanted to say I love your BL name, I'm a fan of William Burroughs's work as well (my favorite is, of course, Junky (or Junkie depending on what version you've got).

Good stuff, and I do agree that you would probably love Other Drugs if you love opiates...

Neighborhood threat- Yeah Burroughs is an excellent writer. If you get the chance to do a little digging there is actually a recording of him reading "JUNK" (As it would have been at the time) outloud. His voice adds a clarity you cant get reading it but at the same time IS a bit annoying.

Allo Bluelighters, I've been aware of ye for quite some time. Much information available on here, hope to make some friends. I'm in Chicago, I am a grad student in IT, I dig sci/fi, drumnbass(mixing), reading, chinese martial arts, and anything pharmaceutical. If you are interested in speaking further, hit me up. I work long hard hours and seek respite when possible. GOOD DAY TO YOU SIRS and MADAMS.

Hows Chicago life? Welcome to BL

Hello NakedJLunch

I love Seattle. I lived in Capital Hill really briefly, and would like to go back. I miss the great coffee, and great people.

ektamine, you really do. He talks about Benzedrine (d/l-amphetamine inhalers that were OTC back then, lucky bastards! in it, as well as heroin, of course). Great writing style, stream of thought with random stuff thrown in, very drug like.

NakedJunkieLunch, I will have to dig that up! :)

Heh, that was a key reason for my registration as well.

Welcome to BL!

I've gotta check out that book (Junkie).

i've got it on audio read by Mr. Burrows himself. PM me your email and give me til monday-when the family shit is over and i'll send you a copy and you can just listen to the man.

I also recommend "They Call Him the Priest"...also read by Bill and background guitar by Kurt Cobain.

I LOVE UR NAME TOO!
Naked Lunch-the movie was my 1st experience w/ William Burrows. I was hooked after that.
