It is with a tinge of sadness that i post this list, as it is probable that i will never meet these people even though it would be great to do so

The respect that all other BL'ers on this forum have for you guys on this site is what draws me to you. I don't know if you are aware of the aura about you guys but it must be a good feeling to be looked up to by so many people.

I think it was you guys that i first saw in pics about BL meet ups and i know it was shal that inspired me to do something about Perth meet ups. Long story short, i did as he said and have met 7 -12 new friends in the process.

Pasilda Nacera - Yes i know, he is the scourge of BL and a terrible post whore but i can't help but have similar sense of humour to him and a need to belong. Was my first TANGIBLE contact with fellow BL'ers (PM)

All you guy's, if your ever thinking about travelling to WA let me know. I would love to meet y'all.

In the meantime you could Make a new friend and introduce yourself, i'm sure you know how to use the PM system and i would love to hear from you=D
 
First off, I gotta say I am quite surprised anyone has mentioned me on this thread. I thought most BL'ers thought I was a goon. Well they aren't wrong I guess. Well nickthecheese, thanks for the holler. Wouldn't mind meeting up with ya either, could go on a well big trip bender aye. Well I might as well say the BL'ers I would most like to meet would be nick of course, UrbanHog (you fuckin mad hatter u, we've had some awesome chats on irc and msn so far) Splatt (the man who only just compares to me in stupid acts of drug imbibement) and FoxyKel coz she will prolly end up meeting me anyway when she moves to nsw anyhoo. I hope to meet some BL'ers someday, coz the crazy irresponsible ones like me *looks at splatt and urbs* would be great to have a laugh with, dozen cases of beer, shitloads of shrooms and lots of fuckin crazy talk. Nickthecheese, u should come join me in my tour of duty through the jungles of psychaedelic mayhem.

My last list consisted of sunflower, narcolepsy, blue eyed girl, Mr & Mrs Samadhi and wazza... and I am more than delighted to say that I have met them all! In addition to those, I also met blue eyed girl's hubby and our swedish backpacking bluelighter, JustinTime!

So, it looks like a new list is needed:

RR has been a great mate of mine online for a long time now, he's made me laugh, listened to me cry and despite seeming a little crazy, he has given me some excellent advice from time to time that was not only needed but also greatly appreciated, he has an amazing knack for putting things into perspective.... his lovely girl, hijinx, is someone I've only recently spoken to but we have a few things in common apart from just RR, and it will be great to catch up with her at some point in the future.

Believe it or not, RC is the first bluelighter I ever spoke to upon entering the irc channel on the angel server - and she's been like a baby sister to me ever since... we've had countless "sister-like" chats about friendships, relationships, careers, body image, you name it... I adore her and can't wait to catch up in Sydney a little later this year.

Every post I see by this lad, and every photo of his "extra curricular activies" like snow skiing, sky diving, etc reminds him of my crazy crazy sports-mad brother and it will be great to get him out raving with RC and myself.

2 guys and 2 gals from the Sydney crew who I have been feeling closer to by the day through reading their entires in their journals and their comments in mine. I've heard good reports about these four people and I'm looking forward to meeting them in Sydney also.

Sorry for those who have been missed, it's not that I don't love you I swear, I do! ;)), it's just that I don't see the point of really listing folks I can't see myself bumping into at some point in the near future - the people listed above are the people I realistically both wish and intend to meet very soon :)

Should have known better next time..... could have asked him some questions about Finland and what he thinks of them ......
 
funluvingirl: We have the same sense of humour. ;) She seems like the kind of person who I could definitely get along with. And I would like to throw plates at people we don't like one day.

I worked out at the last meetup that I've actually met BigTrancer, without knowing who he was (other than in real life, duh), and he's much better-looking online.

I still haven't met doofqueen, despite having been determined to seek her out at the last Earthcore. That plan went the way of all my plans at the last Earthcore, so here I am, still keen to meet her.

Don't think it's going to happen in the next year or two though.

I don't know if I mentioned it before, but I can't wait to meet Hardicus (again) and break his brain so hard, then force feed him lots of stuff and watch lots of cartoons.

I may or may not dress up as an old man when I get down there. ;)

mazdan, mainly cause he writes some very switched on to it shit, both here and in SLR, and I would love the chance to sit down and have a massive chat to him...

and UnSquare, cause I think he'd be a funny cool dude...anyone who has a posting style which is so recognisably their own has gotta be worth meeting.. =D
