in case you're wondering linusSL, there are quite alot of Bluelighters over there in Perth (I checked your info).... so why don't you go about organising a meetup?

One of the most sucessful and fun meetups of all time was organised by Raz when he first moved to Sydney! He didn't know anyone so he just organised a big meetup and it ended up being a crazy night out doofing with lots of hallucinogens consumed :P
 
the fuzz are well aware of bl in perth apparently, so I'd probably go slow and organize a 'sober' meetup, and keep whose going and the location away from the board itself
just organize a date, contact numbers/details and get it all aways from the board to minimize exposure :)
 
^^ adivse that should be echoed for any meetup anywhere - be careful cause we're not the only one's reading these pages. Caution is your friend, never carry any illegal substances to meetups where the location and time has been made on this board.

Never happen? Don't risk becoming the exception :)

wHiTeBoY - Reminds me of myself, and thus must be a kewl guy. Hope to catch up when you're in Perth bro. :)
drinky_mcbeer - Who wouldn't want to manipulate the mind of a babyfaced raver, shit, think of the psychological damage we could cause. Plus he seems like a kewl little dude. =D
onetwothreefour - Not only is he not in his late 20's like I once convinced myself (god knows where I got that idea), he's also a source of much knowledge and has ALWAYS treated me with respect (ever since my wee days as a Greenlighter ;)). Thanks.
DiegoBlunt - Much the same as wHiTeBoY, we seem very similar and as such think we'd get along kewl.
Child-of-the-Beat - Yay for Kandi-Ravers. =D
Raz - Newly promoted to Mod, he seems like an allround good guy.
Taliana and Doofqueen - Both seem like very down to earth, positive people. I'd guess it'd just be kewl to meet them. ;)

LinusSL... I think there was some problem a couple of years ago with fuzz and BL's in perth like moebro refers to, but not recently. We've had mini meet-ups at all the major shows since global last year that i've been aware of.

At TT for example there were about 8 of us who all met on the top outside balcony of metros.

Anyhoo I'm sure if you posted about a meet-up you'd get some interest, but your best bet is to wait for a big show, and you'll get a chance to meet a few new people for sure.

As for people i'd like to meet... not to original... like just about everyone on bluelight I imagine, i'd like to meet Big Trancer, phase_dancer, Cowboy Mac, Apollo and Johnboy...

What can i say i'm attracted to power...

nah. All those guys have such an amazing wealth of knowledge, and genuine concern for people. I think they'd be great to chat to. plus i'm a snob and like talking to smart people who can read good and do other things good to :)

wHiTeBoY, I'd like to meet you =D But didnt say cause I felt like a git. You would be cool to have a chat with. There's a lot of people I'd like to meet actually but probably won't anyway due to distances etc.

i'll revise my list as i met some @ TT meetup and i'll add some more:

@ the top of the list goes DoofQueen - Wish i was in syders for Skazi, but i'll be seein him in Melbs the following night :)
Jammer - Where were u @ TT Meetup WRX man? DIdnt meet ya....just as well, i was pretty scattered....
[electrobot] - again....said about 3 words to u during Vitalic (bad idea hehe =D)....would be cool to have a sober chat...
Unsquare - Too many reasons to list but the main ones would be to see/hear his massive collection of dated vinyl, drink some drinks with him, and generally talk stuff... :)

And also Joellercoaster, Hoptis, Dandy, Funluvingurrl, Butros Butros Grantos, Mr AUDIO and Muzby and a few others i got the chance to meet very briefly @ TT.....it'd be a pleasure to sit down with you all again sometime :)

Ive been itching ever since I saw a wee greenlighter to meet DoofQueen and Raz and have not yet meeted, also would like to re-meet back up with KryalCastleE again, since our last meetup was really breif, and 1234.. Also would like to meet Starfalls69, Ive heard blossom is a great chik so I slap her on my list 2 hehe, and also would like to meet Hardicus again as Only a couple of words were exchanged at TT.... Id like to meet any bler's because we are all on here for the same reason's...

Have PM'ed a few Perth BL's (TiTTy+Psuedo G, hi guys) and they told me about raids that took place and everything. Things are a touch paranoid with right to be so...... i aint been round so long.

Lahlahgatecrasher - again our meeting was so brief, and i was too pre-occupied with the start of vitalic, that i didnt get to have a real chat
SLM - ive wanted to meet her ever since i was a wee greenlighter, and we were going to meetup last year at yaki, but it never happened :(

and ive already met onetwothreefour so im one of the only people who he is not on my wishlist...he he he....arent i special :)
 
ok i have a long list and lots of people who i have mentioned before that i STILL haven't met and you know who you all are ;) but if i mentioned you again sorry for the doubleup (and consider yourself extra special lol ) but seriously it's hard to keep track of everyone :p

*moebro, muzby, dieoblunt...always entertian with their posts and crack me up

*josh_nexus, keej, apollo, jimbu...simply for the fact that they are total cuties hehehe

*jimity...a new fellow novacastrian to possibly party with

*sunflower and Titty...i feel i am on their level of thinking alot and they are down to earth

*buzzin-all_nite_long....she's just a gorgeous and bubbly and fun chick

*child of the beat, lahlahgatecrasher, unsquare, jollercoaster, tnargus...all are such enthusiasic and passinate people and i love that in people

*dr.spgeddi...to teach him how to turn the tv off ;)

*riot grrrl, siany, mean girl, astrosmurf.....all seem like lovely gals who i would love to have a face to face chat with
