Bluelight

I decided yesterday to step down from all my positions on Bluelight. This board has been such a huge part of my life since I've joined and I wouldn't give up that time for anything, but now I feel like my time here is really putting a strain on my "real life" time.

I need to concentrate on me right now and bettering my future/health.

I'll always be around to some extent but not as a mod anymore.

It makes me kind of sad to do this, but I know it's for the best. Thanks to all the people that have made such a great impact on my life over the past years, you're wonderful.

This is what I mean when I say: "It is just a message board."

It is wonderfully refreshing to take a step back and away.

Putting things into a different perspective is difficult, if not impossible, otherwise.

 

You are a great mod. I can relate to what you are saying, but maybe just checking in once a week or so would be better than stepping down?

Anyway, hope you are ok.

 

I made the same choice not so long back, I've also disabled my Facebook page as to make me interact with real people. I do miss this place, but I need to feel real connections too. It's a good move!
