Angkor Wat is pretty well-preserved - boringly so, actually.

Both temples are in the city of Angkor, that's what may be confusing you. There are more than 50 temples in Angkor :).

Nice pic, btw. Interesting seasonal change (barren tree in bg).

no, it was taken in the calaveras big trees park. they do have giant sequoias in yosemite though so i can see why you thought that. i've visited both parks many times and i'm still amazed every time i see them.

Here's my first ever entry to this competition. It's one I took in Nis, Serbia at a former Nazi concentration camp, you can see the wooden posts which host the barbed wire used to stop any prisoners escaping. :)
 
As much as I love trees, I strugged this week :\
