Bluelight weekly photography contest Round 93: Wood

Hopefully tomorrow the weather is nice, no rain and I can see about getting a picture for this. :)

P.S. yes it does look either manipulated or like frost-covered logs. mindtools can you please confirm this?

That means you have toyed with the picture with software, and that is against the rules.

HDR is high dynamic range. In a true sense, 3 exposures are morphed into 1 image (usually EV -1, 0, +1) so it gives greater tonal range. "Playing with the curves" refers to the curves settings in photoshop. Curves can be adjusted to up the sharpness, brightness, darks, blues, reds, contrast, whatever you need changed.

I keep trying to submit my photo... and when i hit reply nothing happens, all it does is refresh the page.

Does anyone know why this is happening?

This is from a tree in Washington state. I was told it only grows in this one place in the world around the San Juan Islands :) .
 
Ok here is mine. I accidently logged in with a VERY old account i was never able to use for some reason-- that's why i couldn't get my picture to show up, because i was a greenlighter on that accout. Actually, i didn't even know i had that account. I don't even remember signing up under that name lol. My computer like got tid of all my auto-sign ons and i couldn't auto sign on to any of the forums i belong to and for some reason for Bluelight the system picked my old screen name and i didn't even notice lol

So ok, here is my wood entry
