^ You lot. Please tell us where your photos were taken, or at least say *something* about it?

Am I being a dickhead about this? It just makes things much more interesting, you know? :)

details are much better at larger size, but 700x700 is tops...

Taken in the cemetery of the town I grew up in. Some relatives are buried there, and I have young friends buried there. 3 to be exact. Died on my birthday, at 16 years old.

This specific stone is for some Italian lady from the 1800's:

Definetly not being a dickhead. I actually think the same thing when others post pictures and don't give any info. My bad. :o

My picture was taken at the Heidelberg castle in Germany. It's mis-shapenness is the result of the War of Succession, in 1693.

This is a picture of the Rijksmeseum in Amsterdam. I visited it when I went there for spring break last year. It houses a large number of Rembrandts, as well as tons of other beautiful artwork. It was first erected in 1885.

My photo was of the control panel for machinery behind broken glass. Part of the reason I like it is that, without knowing when and where, etc., it retains a lot of mystery. What could it be? What did this panel control? Why was it abandoned? Was this on the planet Earth or elsewhere?

It wouldn't ruin it for me to post the details, but it would remove the mystery. But I will post the details if you still want them.

you are being such a f'king dickhead :)

my picture was taken on a trip to paris about 5 years ago. it's notre dame cathedral. it's common to see a wider shot of the cathedral from the north (across the river usually) or, very commonly, from the south.

i took this shot at close quarters from the street on the west side so that it wasn't immediately obvious that it was notre dame.

Hope this makes it in...this pic is of the Pilgrim Monument in Provincetown, MA. My girl and I spent a weekend at the Cape...this was just one of our stops...pretty cool place I must say.
