Here's my entry - I may change it... I like how the fact that it is slightly out of focus almost makes it look like a watercolour painting!

This gets harder and harder every round!

absolutely. every round i catch myself thinking 'wow, these are even more awesome than the ones in the last round'.

Another awesome round!! So far I'm loving the rusty spark plugs, stargazer lily and the neat blueish pine cone.

As it is a guessing game, I might as well have a go.

L2R - Looks like an accidental photo taken inside a "clowns pocket". Possibly a "wizards sleeve"

tambourine-man - a monitor socket from a PC.

tribal girl - A very cool looking ornamental antique like box. Probably the prototype of the box from the Hellraiser movies. You are eeeevilllllll :D

CletusVanDow - Now that would be telling

IAMTHOUGHTS - A drum.

klue - Some sort of cactus/spider plant hybrid complete with resident frog.

entheogenius - An orchid, because you said it is. I first thought it was an orchid, but on closer inspection, it looks like a parchment with writing on it, but couldn't think what.

felix - an incredibly good macro shot of a penile wart.

amot fati - A cool close up of mud with what looks like a toy digger, but is defo not.

huhwhathuhwhat - last nights guilty pleasure of wine

jam uh weezy - I agree with AmorRoark, a pine cone.

BushMonster - A stargazer lily? Very, very nice nice as well

notauniquesnowflake - You are either being devious or just keeping it very simple. It is blatantly a lens from a camera, but are you taking a macro shot of a mirror perchance? I likey though.

Probably my favourite round so far with so many different takes & styles on the subject. Really good stuff folks.

it was THE BIGGEST pine cone i've ever seen. thing was about 9 inches high.

You choose the best photograph that you like the most. The same as always, as far as I am concerned. The guessing part is only a wee bonus Mr Wise Penny has included to make it more interesting.

I listed my guesses because I felt like it & will no way sway my vote because of what it is. I hope everyone else does too.

My "enigmatic" titles are pure pretension (5 years of doing "arty" stuff at college - including 3 years of photography, believe it or not - left a few mental scars ). If I told you why it was called "Orchid" it would rather give the game away...

I wholeheartedly agree with that last sentence - some truly gorgeous pics out there folks, but then there so often is :D.

To go with the heart or the head? Will be difficult to decide...
