Bluelight weekly photography contest Round 7: Seasonal colors

Yep, +1 for pennywise's one, gorgeous colours! Where was it taken? :) And which paint app did you use? :p (joke!)

And the same goes for for the rest of you nice folks - I don't want to step on any toes here, but I, for one, like to read *something* about the photo, you know?

It makes things a bit more personal, and tells us something about the photographer - bonus! %)
 
pennywise: How did you make the colors so deep or is it just about exposure time?

I'm interested in photography, but don't know much about it, yet. :D

And yeah, what comes to the entry, I decided to delete the previous one and thought this would be better:

I was having a walk outside in the morning and it was fun to photograph random things.

I took mine a couple weekends ago while visiting my parents up in northeast Ohio. The steelhead fishing in that area is world class and there were a lot of fishermen out that day, which is why I originally went out. I just happened to see the crowds creeping over that shaddowy part across from the bright trees and thought it made a nice 3-part contrast shot.

And yes, I was actually IN the water there. ;)
 
i have no chance i nthis here mofo. didn't even think i'd find anything to snap, but visited my old today and found some sweet spring purples

Look, the only special thing about this photo is that I used a filter setting on my camera called "landscape". My camera is several years old and it's a sony. I dont know how to use photoshop or any other program to "paint" pictures. I just took it this past weekend in a woodsy area near my house. Perhaps the colors look brighter than they should because the clouds that are in the foreground were not covering the whole sky, and there was sunlight shining on the foliage, giving it better lighting and thus coloration than it would appear it should have because of the clouds. Thats the reason I took the photo.
 
Nah I wouldn't think so, but keep in mind there will probably be a black and white theme in the future if that helps. ;)

Pennywise, that picture is amazing. Do you have a high res copy you could sent me? I'd like to print out a large one to hang in my home if you don't mind..
