Jaymie got my vote, but it was tough to choose. HisNameIsFrank's picture is a great twist on the theme, and terribly cute to boot. And I just love old, abandoned, overgrown places, so sushii's shot really struck a chord with me. So many other great shots this round, but those really stood out the most.

Oh, entheogenious, I don't know with whom you're hosting, but your shot didn't show up for me.

I voted for bgivens because the color is so rich. It also drew me in and made me curious as to what and where that was. I love high contrast photos.

I really liked L2R, pr0ficient and Kiwi's photos. You all had the added benefit of being in extraordinarily beautiful surroundings. Where were those pictures taken, if you don't mine me asking?

i voted for johnny1. there's just something about the composition of that shot that i loved.

i find, generally, that the photos really capture the spirit of the theme really well. in this round, there were, for me, a handful of shots which didn't evoke the theme at all. still, lots of great shots.

sheepish~I liked yours a lot because of the colors. Sometimes window reflections can deflect from the quality of the image, but in this case it adds a very ephemeral quality to it. The entire image is very otherworldly.

Great entries with lots of beautiful colors, compositions, and emotions. I liked so many other people's images. :)

I went with sushii. I thought it captured the theme well, and it had a very sensual quality. I could almost feel the cool wetness. It just had a great mood to it.

Runners up were BA and felix. Both of them are photographers whom I don't think really get as much credit as they deserve. I really should vote for them more often. They always stand out for me.

Lots of great shots, too many to list them all. Some of the entries were just shots of anything though, and while they may have been seen through a window, it didn't really do anything to keep with the theme. I liked the ones where you knew you were looking through a window. Some people had somewhat loose interpretations of what "window" meant, which is ok I guess, since we really wouldn't want all the shots to look the same, but I would have liked to see some more creative solutions to keeping the shots more relevant to the theme.

These criticisms aren't terribly important or trying to be negative. I just wanted to try to begin including some constructive criticism in my comments of arts content. I know some people appreciate it, myself included, and like any help that people can give them to help improve their art.

But still, good job everyone! I am happy to see so many people participating. :)
