haha. that's the 46 meter long lying buddha in wat pho in thailand. i've been there a few months ago. makes me want to go to asia again :)

Be one with that Buddha statue in this very moment and it won't matter why, pennywise. It will just be the way things are. Which is where the magic happens.

(Imagine gazing on that statue the first time while tripping on acid, if you have that frame of reference. Would you ask the same question? If the answer is "yes," then my answer back to you is: Why do Vulcans have Buddha ears?)

it's actually a politically inspired installation concerning the beleaguered dollar's recent troubles, and how it's fighting its way back.

but once you have to explain it, it somehow loses its magic. such is the danger of sharing your art with the philistines, of course. :|
