Bluelight weekly photography contest Round 6: Solitude

i took a few years ago in an abandonned mental hospital.

Cheers, man.

It was taken in one of the side entrances to the Sydney Opera House.

I loved the way the high-lit ceiling seemed to move in the opposite direction to the darkened stairs. There's some incredibly strange achitecture in that building. :)
 
^oh the many twisted nights i've spent running around the opera house.

anyways, here's mine for solitude. central station (sydney). yesterday.

Johnmortons, fantastic picture! I can't really explain why yours is the one that's struck the "solitude chord" for me, but that picture completely represents what I see when I feel dissociated from the world, like a lone spectator. Awesome job!
