tambo, what is that?
The RMS Mulheim - a cargo ship that ran aground off the cost of Cornwall. It's actually on the eastern side of Land's End.

http://www.sennen-cove.com/mulheimimages.htm

The official story is that the Captain of the ship got his trousers snagged on a lever, fell over and knocked himself unconscious while his ship ploughed into the cliffs.

Whoops.

Reports that other members of the crew were hit by falling anvils or pianos have always been strenuously denied.

EDIT: Ooops... I should have read the directions. I need to find another one. I will leave this up for now tho because it is aesthetically pleasing.

good god, this is gonna be a tough choice. I'm envious of the photography skills in here.

on a side note, have a lot of the regular contestants taken photo classes?

I changed my picture, are we allowed to do that

can you please please please post a link to the first one? i really liked it, and i kinda wanna save a copy of it if possible.

if a thread gets started for photography basics , will you offer advice? and maybe give tips if people (like myself) submit crappy pics that could have been better if certain novice elements were changed, like camera settings and lighting and stuff? cuz I think that would be awesome.

^ Awesome picture! Where was that taken if you don't mind me asking?

Also, I bet it'd be sweet in autumn when the leaves begin to change!

Why thank you. :)

It's a place called Pitfour Estate in the North East of Scotland.

Where the cows are grazing, was where the large mansion house was located overlooking the water. It was Felix who took me there on a bike ride & I was pretty blown away by it all. He could tell you the whole history of the owners from the 18th & 19th century & how they were Bill Gates rich. Building railway lines & a church for workers etc. Sadly most of it is gone now, but still a beautiful spot that nobody seems to know about.

Excellent! My file has a name now and a bit of a story. Thanks again, CVD. :)

P.S. Yeah, that felix he likes to tell stories. I've been told to pack a lunch. 8) ;)
