fuck i'm stupid! i've been watching some fantastic showers around sydney the last couple of days without a single thought on this contest. argh!

L2R, I missed the showers here as well (was stuck indoors). All I have is some mist from just before the showers came down.

They're promising rain tomorrow, so if I'm lucky enough to capture some, I'll do a swap.

Oh L2R............its bloody pissing down outside right this very moment thanks to the biggest thunderstorm for five years.............OK its the only thunderstorm for five years.........but it was a pisser...........check this out. Taken outside my front door just 5 minutes ago..........honestly its the hardest rain for more than 5 years.

thx. Yup, I have a 28-70mm F/2.8 L (used in this one), 100-400mm IS L and 100mm F/2.8 Macro. I'm still on the lookout for more.

There should be a fire theme at some point to contrast the rain theme.

The major fires we're having here in california has that theme on my mind I suppose.

I have been waiting on rain as well. It was supposed to rain all day yesterday...nothing, just clouds. It is supposed to be raining now...just clouds...tap, tap, tap. I would like to do a fresh picture.

I totally disagree................I love your pic...............For me however its in the wrong theme............If the theme was London then you could not have more perfectly shown what my concept of london..............well anywhere in Engerland really is.

Engerland and rain just go hand in hand for me.............weird cos i never been there.
