LOL! you'll have to excuse me for not seeing that; I used to raise ostriches so I guess that sorta clouded my viewing ability. when I looked at that part of the pic, all I really saw was a phallic symbol :D

You know whats weird...........I had no idea what they were on about either but I also could see a phallic symbol and wonderred if ostrich was another name for phallic symbol over there..........lol

Cedar point gets no love?!

cedar fair is on my official shit-list. i'm sure you know why. although i'm not going to allow my personal agendas affect my kids, I'm at least boycotting them for the rest of this season. and I won't be returning until my children actually ask to go in the future.

i went with BA's since it captured the theme the best (as alasdair previously pointed out) but damien's shot was the best. i love L.A., even though i hate it sometimes

where was that shot taken, btw? i went clubbing in hollywood last night and i couldn't find any place that would be that high up to get a great shot like that.

LA Sheriffs helicopter ride along. They have the chillest job on the face of the planet btw.

great picture L2R; I'd love to hear the story behind it. I don't know if I voted for it on the quality of the picture itself or the fact that the Himalayas are the most dominant feature on the entire planet and you were there taking a photograph.

in 2005 i trekked up to the peak of kalla pattar, which is right next to (within a few kilometers of) everest. i took the below set of the panorama

i was at 5545m = almost 18,200 ft

i'm DESPERATE to go back!
