Man, this is going to be a tough round for voting. Lots of very good pics. Johnny1, that's a great little picture. Makes me want to know what's to either side of the truck.

This is super cool full size but for now I think I have made it the right size for this contest?
SA- Do you think we can do another foliage contest since it is coming up on the fall foliage in many parts? They can be gorgeous photos. If it cant be re-done is it okay to start a thread for people to post their foliage pics?

The 1.6 crop factor is the barstard feature with that combination. Everytme some takes a photo of a group of three or more, you have to stand so fart away. But there is no better bang for your buck than that five flat-bladed apeture beauty. As much as I love my 350D, I can't wait to get something of a Canon 5D variety with no crop. It will mean I have to factor in things like vignetteing, but it will be worth the upgrade. %)

Thanks frizzantik and tambourine-man. I found that truck in a city yard and really liked the "face" it seems to have. It was "golden light" time, with the light almost gone, but there was a bit still on the truck.

So far my favorites are dreamgirlie19's and BA's.

Next theme is Great/Funny Signs (as in shopfront, billboards, traffic, etc.)

somthing tells me if people had photos of funny signs (or new where to find one) they would have posted that photo in the "signs & sign posts" round.

^Yeah, I posted one with "Gash" on it. It's a very rare thing to find a sign that has a slang term for a vagina, unless of course you live near Beaver Creek or Pussy Place. Ah well never mind, I'm sure I'll think of something.

Correction: that yellow truck was not in a city yard. It was in the yard of an artist's complex north of downtown L.A, where the artists keep their cars. It was formerly a city truck. Surrounding the lot were very solid-looking corrugated metal buildings where the artists lived and worked. Someone must be using that truck as their vehicle, maybe to tote their art works around.
